NiP, Epsilon win group A openers

Both of the favourites, NiP and Epsilon, managed to go through to the upper final of group A after wins over their respective opponents, Berzerk and Publiclir.se.

With a delay due to power and internet issues, first matches of DreamHack SteelSeries CS:GO Championship have been played out, as we see both favourites through to the next round as expected.

NiP have been drawn to Berzerk, the former ALTERNATE team, and vetoed the maps until de_inferno was left. Even though NiP choked in the beginning, coupled with a disconnect, and went up only 8-7 as Counter-Terrorists, they still finished the game at 16-12.

Yeah, they had chances, but in the end NiP's experience and class prevailed.

Yeah, they made some critical mistakes, I was facepalming when kHYSTAL pushed with a usp in boiler. I was impressed by alexrr's awping, he should've used it in CT, imo. Fel1x played amazingly and kHYSTAL played really well. It was fun to watch. :)

They lost two anti-ecos and got the score reset from 5-5 to 5-4 when gtr crashed. I doesn't matter what anyone thought before the game, they had a real shot at a win here.

more like 2 crucial mistakes and the rest could have happend to everyone else too. playing very agressivly with an awp against a glock eco isnt the best thing to do....

im not saying that berzerk would had won without those mistakes but it would probably push nip to the very edge

losing the eco round in the endgame cost them the match, thats a fact. you just cant do something like that when its 13-11

NiP played horribly. A bad game from their side no doubt. Should've been 16-5 +-1 round
