First round of group B over

Virtus.pro expectedly proceeded through London Conspiracy (16-4 de_mirage), while SK Gaming prevailed in the all-Swedish match against fnatic (16-9 de_inferno).

Group B is the without a doubt the most interesting group of DreamHack Summer, and the almost all-Swedish first round was also the match with the biggest upset posibility.

SK were up against fnatic in their opener, and the map was once again de_inferno, the most played map in group stages over the last few tournaments. SK started off strongly, after winning the pistol round, the score was at 5-2.

It didn't take long for fnatic to pick up though, as they got seven out of eight following rounds for a 9-6 lead. SK had a very strong reply as the defense though, getting all ten rounds in a row for a 16-9.

In the second match, Virtus.pro were up against London Conspiracy, the former .no team, and got off to a 11-4 half in spite of starting on the Terrorists side on de_mirage.

They didn't allow the Norwegians to get anything done on the offense and quickly finished the match off at 16-4, which means they will meet SK in the upper final.

Fuck Fnatic what kind of play was that? There were no Tactics at all that was just Bullshit rushing! Hope fnatic will never ever be in a Game again just Deinstall cs go and then steam! Sad to see Dreamhack 2013 Champions loosing so badly! GG WP SK well deserved

im pretty sure they dont want to face VP in group stage. From previous matches fnatic did a much better job in T side compare to this match, so most likely fnatic are saving strategy and throwing the game to avoid playing against VP. Furthermore, they can earn tonnes of ez skin from fnatic fanbois like me :(

I was not on the main stream, there was most likely not lost a lot of skins in that game and the result is expected by all. That's most likely why, in case you wonder :)
