Flipsid3 upset Na´Vi in group D

The opening round of the last group has just ended with Natus Vincere in a much different de_dust2 than expected against Flipsid3, the BYOC qualifier runner-up.

Na´Vi got off to a 4-1 start thanks to a won pistol as Terrorists and an exchange of gunrounds, but ended up getting only four more rounds in the half, as Flipsid3 kept denying their opponents' attacks.

The Swedish bandwagon couldn't have been stopped on the other side for seven rounds in a row with Jimmy "Jumpy" Berndtsson at the helm with his sniper rifle, before Na´Vi could reply with two rounds, which made it 14-10.

At that point a quick B attack got the match into a map point, when Na´Vi had to save to have a chance to come back for five rounds in a row. They were able to turn it around for four rounds, but in the end lost a three-vs-four to be sent down.

The other side of the SGL group system saw Lemondogs running over Expert Gaming as Counter-Terrorists, getting an 11-4 scoreline at halftime thanks to a good defense.

The Norwegians won the other pistol though, which helped them survive for three rounds in a row before Lemondogs got back on track for two of their own for a 14-8 lead. Expert Gaming kept racking up more and more rounds as Counter-Terrorists though, but Lemondogs managed to get the last round for overtime.

There, Lemondogs got a 2-1 lead before switching back to CT, which was enough for them to win 19-17 overall.

Na´Vi now have to fight for survival against Expert Gaming, while Lemondogs will take on Flipsid3 in the all-Swedish battle for a top placing in group D.
