myXMG sign NewStyle

Earlier this month, HLTV.org reported that myXMG were on the lookout for a new CS:GO division after losing their British team as three of their players moved to Infused.

The Germany-based organisation have now turned to the Danish market and signed NewStyle, who caught the eye of the community when they finished runners-up to CPH Wolves at the Gaming.dk League Season 9 Finals, beating tRICKED and Reason en route to the final.

With Nicolai "Hunden" Petersen, formerly of CPH Wolves, now leading the pack, the team will be looking to cement their place in the Danish scene and maybe try their luck in events abroad if things work out for them.

"Shortly before the Danish Superseries finals we contacted hunden and told him that we needed a 5th man to our team," said Thomas "haste" Dyrensborg.

"We practiced alot with hunden and everything worked out really well so we decided it should be us five together. We needed a guy with alot of experience and knowledge so hunden was a perfect choice for us, with his experience from Counter Strike: Source.

"I personally love playing with hunden because he has a lot to share and teach the rest of us. Besides that he has shown me a new aspect of calling strats within the game and it has helped me develope as an in-game leader.

"When we finished 2nd in the Superseries beating Reason 16-14 with a standin we began to be approached by various organizations.

"We had a clear goal if we should join an organization, we wanted a safe base were we could develope our individual level to reach our goals within csgo. Our goal is rather simple and it is that we want to compete with the best.

"We have chosen a partnership with myXMG because they could offer us what we needed and because they have a secure base and a firm management. I am quite sure that we have found the right "home". We know that our team has the potential to move forward onto the international stage and that myXMG have faith in us!

"We are very happy to get this opportunity of such a well-known organization, and will do our best to perform at the highest possible level."
