dignitas over NiP to win SCAN cup

dignitas have won Team dignitas SCAN CS:GO Invitational with a 2-1 (16-10 de_season, 7-16 de_nuke, 16-5 de_dust2) win over NiP for 1,500€.

With no other top teams taking part, NiP and dignitas ran through their opposition easily to clinch spots in the grand final of the SCAN CS:GO Invitational, organized by dignitas.

The Danes were playing without Nicolai "device" Reedtz and used Copenhagen Wolves' Jacob "Pimp" Winneche as a stand-in, but still managed to win opener de_season 16-10.

Pimp teamed up with dupreeh last night to take down NiP

Second map was de_nuke, NiP's best map, and the Swedes quickly evened up the series despite a lacluster 9-6 counter-terrorist half, scoring seven quick rounds on the terrorist side.

It all came down to de_dust2, where Henrik "FeTiSh" Christensen's squad dominated. They scored eleven rounds as the defenders, and quickly closed the series with a 16-5 win.

Pimp OP! Great performance as a standin! They all played great tho, but Pimp impressed me the most since he's not a member of the team. They just beat the full NIP lineup with a standing.. Quite impressive!

They do care, noone likes to lose, specially NiP players. But they werent obviously any near of the level of motivation they had for their last lan tournament win just a few days ago obviously. They care but, not that much :p

I would say it was more important for dignitas. They do not make a lot of money, 300 per player is ok for a day's work. NiP, on the other hand, are making enough to not really care about those 300.

They have tournament wins online but have barely made it to a semi on LAN. That's an obvious difference in performance.

As if ANY sponsor would let the team they sponsor just "care little" about ANY match in ANY cup / tournament... NiP's sole goal is to win EVERYTHING. Always has been always will be. They care about every little match and every cup they play in.
