Na`Vi take down Manajuma

Na`Vi have defeated North American Manajuma 2-0 (16-11 de_season, 16-8 de_dust2) in their opening match at ESEA Invite Season 16 Global Finals.

Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács scored three quick headshots to win Na`Vi the opening pistol round on de_season, but Derek "dboorN" Boorn's one-on-two heroics tied the game at one.

After two save rounds Manajuma took over the B site, and forced Na`Vi to retreat and save their guns. Denis "seized" Kostin then scored two, followed by two more by Kovács, and Na`Vi got within one.

The Europeans tied the game at four, as Boorn loses a one-on-one by not peeking a defusing Kovács. Manajuma regained the lead though, as they took over B and forced Na`Vi to save weapons again.

Andrew "Irukandji" Timmerman's squad won two more to go up 7-4, including a quad kill round by Derek "desi" Branchen, and a triple kill save round effort by Sergey "starix" Ischuk.

dboorN was great on de_season

Na`Vi then rallied behind a double from Arseny "ceh9" Trynozhenko, a triple by Danilo "Zeus" Teslenko and another triple from Trynozhenko on the final round, gaining a 8-7 lead.

Manajuma couldn't defend the B bombsite on the pistol round, and after surrendering the fourth round as well, found themselves trailing 7-13. Ischuk then clutched a one-on-one, extending their lead to 14-7.

Two kills by Boorn and Michael "shroud" Grzesiek got a round for Manajumas, but two entries by Trynozhenko gave Na`Vi map point. Boorn remained JUMAS' star, keeping them alive with another double.

Grzesiek and Kyle "minikerr" Kerr's doubles, followed up by two more kills by Boorn. At 11-15 Kovács had had enough though, winning an incredible one-on-three with a P250 to win the map 16-11.

Manajuma ran a bombsite A fake on the pistol round that saw Na`Vi get completeld fooled, but Kerr wasn't able to win a one-on-three in the B bombsite, and Na`Vi got up 2-0 to start de_dust2.

GuardiaN hit a lot of important AWP shots for Na`Vi

Trynozhenko scored three P90 kills against JUMAS' early buy, and Kovács scored an AWP double, as well as a CZ75 kill for a 5-0 lead. A triple by Grzesiek then got the Americans on the board.

Kovács and Trynozhenko mowed down Manajuma in A, and then a really smart play by Kostin saw him get two easy kills in the B tunnels to force JUMAS on a save and give Na`Vi a 8-1 lead.

Teslenko and Kovács split the pot on the following round, but Boorn finally won Manajuma their second with a one-on-two in B. Still, Na`Vi ran up a 13-2 half, despite Timmerman's triple kill on the last round.

Na`Vi won the second half pistol round as well, but another triple by Timmerman, this time with a Five-Seven, kept his team alive. JUMAS' upper B push then got them to six.

Boorn's triple won Manajuma another round, but three kills on two following rounds by Trynozhenko and Teslenko finally closed the map 16-8, and the series 2-0 overall.

Expected, people should give MJ some slack, most of them have very little lan experience.

This is why you never overrate a player that is not LAN proven, AKA Shroud. He looked like a average pro player out there, he wasn't hitting his godly shot he usually does online.

a kid going to one of the biggest events he has player. Obviously he's going to be a lot more nervous then more experienced players. Online you are in the comfort of your setup and house.

He averaged around .7 FPR online playing against mostly low tier NA invite teams, and against NaVi (one of the best teams in the world) had a .6 FPR. He did fine considering it being his first real LAN while also playing against a team that is way better competition than hes used to playing against.

True story they played good and if a game is ending 16 12 it is a very close game, they will play better on Lan if they will have some experience.
