KRiMZ and olofm join fnatic

Andreas "schneider" Lindberg and Jonatan "Devilwalk" Lundberg have left fnatic's active roster, while Freddy "KRiMZ" Johansson and Olof "olofm" Kajbjer join, the team has announced on their website.

Fnatic have been struggling to place in the top four ever since their surprising DreamHack Winter 2013 win. Since then they placed third at DreamHack Stockholm and fifth to eighth at EMS One Katowice and Copenhagen Games.

The team also recently went out in the group stage of DreamHack Summer following two losses to SK Gaming, but managed to make up for it by defeating NiP in the grand final of ESPORTSM Finals.

olofm will wear the fnatic jersey from now on

The online leagues and tournaments didn't go their way as well, since their team disappointed to play to their previous standards at Fragbite Masters and ESEA Invite Season 16.

Fnatic have now decided to make a change, and it is Lindberg leaving the roster and Lundberg stepping down to coach the team. TEAMGLOBAL's Freddy "KRiMZ" Johansson and Olof "olofm" Kajbjer are the ones to replace them in the active roster.

"This is a very sad day for me as I will be stepping down as a player. I've had countless hours of fun on this journey of friendship and endurance! I will never forget the time we had together as a team." Lundberg said on Fnatic's website.

"I never had the goal of me being the best player in the world, my goal was always to make this team the best in the world, and if I can help out with that in any way to reach that goal I will gladly do so. To reach that goal I believe changes had to be made, I have decided to step down from my role as a player and also release a good friend of mine from the team (Andreas) whom I have played with my entire career."

"We have been together from the first team I ever had to this team that I love and cherish every moment, but at the same time I don’t think we can hold hands forever and therefore this was the best solution I could think of. Having said that I am also very excited for this new chapter for me as a coach/manager for the team and I want to give the team the best possible chance to become one of the best teams in the world, something I think few teams have in CS:GO today."

The incoming players had the following to say:

Fifflaren is the support player ffs. He is naturally not going to have the stats of the rest of NiP, especially since, when you have both get_right and forest on your team, there are only so many frags left to get.

They were actually making decisions together. Whoever had an idea called and they realized it. I know that they tried different igls throughout the time but noone really catched to it. This might be the reason why they didn't do better. They lacked of leadership.

I think fnatic wanted olof obviously... and krimz going to was more reason for olof to leave old lgb.. therefore fnatic decided schnieder(olof>schnieder) isn't as good at flusha, JW is the awper, and pronax IGL.. and were looking at the team.
