According to ESEA News' sources, compLexity plans on removing Todd "anger" Williams in the coming days despite a second place finish at the ESEA Finals last weekend.

The move doesn't come as a surprise to many, with even our preview for the ESEA Invite Season 16 Global Finals suggesting a change will be coming shortly after the Finals.

Still, with the North American ESWC qualifier just over two weeks away and coL managing a second place finish at the ESEA Finals, no one was sure whether Williams would stay on coL.

anger might be on his way out of compLexity

ESEA News now say their sources have confirmed Williams will be cut once compLexity find a suitable replacement for the former iBUYPOWER, Curse and Team Dynamic member.

Williams joined compLexity in a trade for Braxton "swag" Pierce shortly after EMS One Katowice. The move would leave coL a player short with the following roster:

Spencer "Hiko" Martin
Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert
Kory "Semphis" Friesen
Sean "sgares" Gares

ESEA News also state compLexity are rumoured to be looking to acquire either Michael "shroud" Grzesiek or Derek "dboorN" Boorn, both of whom represented Manajuma last weekend.

The North American ESWC qualifier will be held on July 18-19 in Montreal, QC, and should be compLexity's next event. The squad was also invited to ESL One Cologne, on August 14-17.

Such a dumb decision, anger had some huge rounds in key games. Seems like they're only looking at the stats from the final game, unless he and his teammates had a fight I don't know about.

It's not going to happen and Few admitted that it's just "sources" which is azk in his stream saying they're going to release him. And part of the other rumor was that they'd pick shroud up. Nope. It'd be stupid to release anger just before ESL cologne and ESWC to pick up shroud whose only international experience is the ESEA lan, which he played a total of 4 matches. A better pick up, IF THEY DID RELEASE ANGER - would be dboorn. He's played with n0thing in the past on EG. It's all rumor. I highly doubt they'd release anger, they played the best they ever have over the past weekend. In the beginning of the tournament anger wasn't doing too well - but he started getting into a good groove of getting some important frags.

I've read both articles. And I'm saying that their "sources" are mainly players from Ibp. I'll believe it when I see it. And if it does happen, it probably won't be shroud. It won't be someone whose only experience at an international tournament is that of 4 maps total. It will likely be dboorn as he and nothing have been team mates in the past.

+1 dboorn played really good given his team lol but then again he fails on lan alot too. I used to follow his 1.6 days and he is meh when it really counts. Shroud lacks experience call me crazy but someone like storm or warden would fit well, strong support players

dboorN may have more experience (especially going back to late in 1.6) but he is washed up now imo. shroud has much more raw fragging ability and they should pick him up (unless they practice with him and there are chemistry/teamwork problems or something like that)

shroud lacks experience, I don't think he's a good choice. dboorN on the other hand has plenty of international XP (he played with n0thing in 1.6 on EG and coL) and he played really well in ESEA Lan.

shroud is kind of a wild card, if he continues to improve, and prove himself and play like he's playing online for Manajuma, then I think he'd be a great addition for coL, but he could also flop and be shit and not play good internationally. definitely safer choice to go with dboorN

People were saying he's about to get released since the day coL signed him. Dunno why anyone would brag about predicting it. It's gonna be interesting who they sign because they currently can't hang with IBP and the tops EU teams (excluding this last ESEA where every EU team did terrible) If they want to compete for titles - they better take their time to make the best pick possible.

the obvious pick here is dboorn. he is a friend with everyone in this team. I do not know how good he is right now as he isnt on swag's level and maybe he is a little bit worse than anger in fragging ability. But he is dboorN he will reach his 1.6 level eventually (LIKE nothing did)
