xikii exits Outbreak
Outbreak have announced that they have replaced Víctor "xikii" García with Galder "bladE" Barcena.
Back in May, HLTV.org reported that a new Spanish side had emerged under the name Kappa, with the team being picked up by Outbreak just weeks after going public.
DreamHack Valencia will be the team's first event, and their preparations for this tournament have been dented by the departure of Víctor "xikii" García, who wants to dedicate more time to some personal matters of his.
Replacing the Spanish player will be Galder "bladE" Barcena, a former member of DN-Gaming and Karont3 who has previously played alongside José Vicente "Spanisfury" González Moreno and Arturo "sukitRon" Gil.
"Motivation had dropped in the team, something that could go on," Gil told trasgo.net.
"Moreover, xikii received a big job offer, which made it hard for him to practice with the team and to bootcamp, so he decided he no longer had enough motivation put put CS before his personal life.
"After considering our options, we think that bladE will bring in exactly what we were lacking: experience and motivation. He will adapt to the team easily, since he had already played with Spanisfury and myself."
Outbreak will attend DH Valencia's BYOC qualifier with:
Aitor "SOKER" Fernández
Xavi "Aguila" Casals
Arturo "sukitRon" Gil
Chevi "Spanisfury" Gonzalez
Galder "bladE" Barcena
