ASUS ROG Summer 2014ENCORE face myR in ASUS ROG final
myRevenge and ENCORE will be going head-to-head for $5,000 in ASUS ROG Summer 2014 grand final at 21:05 after semi-final wins over Recursive and Nostalgie.
First semi-final took place hours ago and started with Danny "BERRY" Krüger's myRevenge overcoming Recursive 16-14 on de_mirage, after nearly having to surrender a 15-9 lead.
Slaava "Twista" Räsänen's Recursive had no shot on de_cache though, as they were decimated 1-14 on their terrorist side and only scored four more rounds before being eliminated 2-0.
ENCORE had a much harder time with Nostalgie. A strong defensive half put them up 11-4 on de_nuke, and they closed the map 16-11. Nostalgie then dominated de_inferno 16-2.
It all came down to de_dust2, where ENCORE were facing elimination at 13-15, only to force overtime and ultimately bring home a 19-16 win in front of a cheering Finnish crowd.
ASUS ROG Summer 2014 grand final will begin at 21:05 and will be broadcasted by RoomOnFire and on Finnish national TV by the channel YLE TV2.
