iBUYPOWER put NiP in danger

iBUYPOWER beat NiP 16-10 on de_inferno, which means NiP are now in real danger of leaving the competition in the group stage.

NiP went into their match with iBUYPOWER on de_inferno as the more favorable Counter-Terrorists side and started off with a four-round deficit at 1-5 before they started coming back.

Before they switched sides, the score said 9-6 in the Swedes' favour, although a lost pistol and the first two gunrounds put Lucas "steel" Lopes's team up 12-9. One A attack in NiP's favor didn't stop the North Americans, as they went for the win with four straight rounds to put NiP in danger of leaving the competition early.

NiP now have to win their match against London Conspiracy to have a chance at proceeding through the group stage, although nothing would still be set in stone as a number of situations can happen for them to go out.

Group B saw dignitas taking on mousesports on de_dust2, which was clearly Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen's game, whose team ended up on a 11-4 Terrorists lead.

Rasmussen finished with an astonishing 1.97 rating for a fairly close game, and the newest acquisition of mousesports, Aleksi "allu" Jalli, had yet another good performance for his team despite losing 11-16.

The present tense is a grammatical tense whose principal function is to locate a situation or event in present time.[1] The term "present tense" is usually used in descriptions of specific languages to refer to a particular grammatical form or set of forms; these may have a variety of uses, not all of which will necessarily refer to present time. For example, in the English sentence My train leaves tomorrow morning, the verb form leaves is said to be in the present tense, even though in this particular context it refers to an event in future time. Similarly, in the historical present, the present tense is used to narrate events that occurred in the past.

True but at Katowice it was all de_inferno and it's the same for G3. It's hard for an AWPer to go big on a map like that.

"NiP now have to win their match against Epsilon" NiP already played Epsilon and lost. They have to win their game again LC while iBP have to lose against Epsilon in order for NiP to go through. NiP also have a chance to go through if they beat LC and either Epsilon only get one more win or LC get no more wins. They would all be on 6 points then and I guess round difference would decide.

Dignitas are looking great. I honestly think they are the ones who have been playing best today. I wouldn't be surprised if they win the whole tournament if they continue playing like they have.
