Virtus.pro survive LondonC scare

London Conspiracy started de_inferno off by winning the first pistol round by defending the A bombsite perfectly, getting an early 3-0 lead after securing the following anti-ecos.

A round on VP's side in the first gunround was quickly exchanged, with the Norwegians eventually extending their lead to six rounds at 7-1, when Pål "⁠Polly⁠" Kammen got four kills with an AWP in his hands while defending the B bombsite.

Virtus.pro responded by winning one round with an A split for 7-2, and then it was Kammen who the work for his team yet again, getting an ace and a double kill in the B bombsite for an eventual 9-3.

A forcebuy didn't work the way it was supposed to on the Polish side, as their A attack was defended perfectly by London Conspiracy, but towards the end of the half they managed to exchange the remaining rounds for 11-4.

Kammen's team's fake on B could've ended successfully if it wasn't for Jarosław "⁠pashaBiceps⁠" Jarząbkowski, who scored a triple in the mid area for 11-5, only for the Poles to get pushed back to ecoing themselves by LC in the following round.

Virtus.pro tried to surprise as well, and they did so thanks to a double from Janusz "⁠Snax⁠" Pogorzelski's side and yet another eco win went their way, this time for 12-8 eventually.

Another fake rounded towards the A bombsite resulted in a three-vs-three, which London Conspiracy turned into seven map point thanks to a failed forcebuy and an eco by the Poles.

Jarząbkowski managed to push the banana attack back, which allowed his team to lower the deficit to 15-11. Then, Ruben "⁠RUBINO⁠" Villarroel almost completed a 1-vs-4 clutch, but Paweł "⁠byali⁠" Bieliński defused the bomb in the last second.

Virtus.pro survived for two more rounds afterwards and the match went into the last possible round without overtime, when London Conspiracy closed it off with a B cleanup without a death for 16-14 on the first map, 1-0.

de_cache then followed, and this was a completely one-sided map, perhaps one that London Conspiracy are not prepared for just yet. The pistol round in the first half was a close one, with Preben "⁠prb⁠" Gammelsæter almost winning a 1-on-3 situation in A before being taken down by Snax.

Virtus.pro followed that up by winning six consecutive rounds, and it was only at this point that the Norwegians finally managed to win a round of their own. However, any momentum that could have been built up by London C. disappeared right after as Virtus.pro regained control of the match and took a commanding 14-1 lead to the second half.

London Conspiracy came out the brighter in the second half and reduced the deficit by taking the opening two rounds, but the Polish side proved far stronger in gun play and equalised the series on one map following a 16-4 victory.

The third and final map was de_nuke, where it was London Conspiracy who came out the brighter as the Norwegians won the pistol round after stopping Virtus.pro's upper site rush. Filip "⁠NEO⁠" Kubski still managed to plant the bomb in the B site but all he could do was take down two of the four opponents left alive.

The round that followed also went LondonC's way, but in the third round Virtus.pro went for a full buy and reduced the deficit. Until the end of the first half, the Polish giants were in control of the match, as LondonC found themselves helpless against Virtus' attacking moves.

The second half began in that exact same manner as the first one, with LondonC taking the pistol round, but that did not stop Virtus.pro from buying guns and claiming the three rounds they needed as they ran out 16-3 winners.
