fnatic overcome Virtus in overtime

fnatic almost overcame a two-on-four situation on their terrorist pistol on de_overpass, but Wiktor "⁠TaZ⁠" Wojtas final P2000 bullet connected and got Virtus.pro the early lead.

The Poles were in danger on round three, but Paweł "⁠byali⁠" Bieliński's double in a two-on-three retake put them up 3-0. Freddy "⁠KRIMZ⁠" Johansson won a one-on-two next though, and fnatic ran over B after.

At 2-3 Virtus had two saved weapons, but it was enough to win a round, and byali's two entries put fnatic on a save round, whose kills were split by byali and Jarosław "⁠pashaBiceps⁠" Jarząbkowski.

fnatic again easily ran over B to win round nine, but doubles from byali and Filip "⁠NEO⁠" Kubski gave Virtus the control. NEO's side then stopped fnatic in B, and his there kills and as assist against an eco with an Incendiary made it 9-3.

Markus "⁠pronax⁠" Wallsten's entry kills in B got fnatic the next round, but byali won a one-on-one to give Virtus their tenth. Last round went to fnatic, with pronax getting two, again.

A triple kill by Robin "⁠flusha⁠" Rönnquist on low health saved the day for fnatic on their defensive pistol round, and a quad-kill by Olof "⁠olofmeister⁠" Kajbjer cut their deficit down to 7-10.

Virtus came close to winning a save in A, though ultimately lost, and then another multi-kill round, this time a triple, by olofmeister got fnatic within one round at 9-10.

The Poles' save tied the game at ten, but doubles by NEO and Janusz "⁠Snax⁠" Pogorzelski got them their lead back, before a two kill effort by flusha once again tied the game.

Snax's three opening kills got Virtus the lead, which they then extended to 13-11 with him picking up two more kills on the next round, while byali put in two as well.

olofmeister and KRIMZ won a crucial two-on-three retake to keep fnatic in it, but two AK-47 frags by byali got Virtus.pro to fourteen, just two rounds away from victory.

TaZ got two entries in A, and Snax cleaned up the round to give Virtus three game points, and a chance to finish on top of group B at ESL One Cologne 2014.

fnatic fought back, and two pairs of FAMAS kills from Jesper "⁠JW⁠" Wecksell and KRIMZ made it 13-15. olofmeister's triple MAG-7 round got them within one, and the duo of JW and flusha forced overtime.

Tied 15-15, Virtus were able to take A with under twenty seconds to go, plant the bomb and win the crucial opening round. However, fnatic instantly adjusted, stopping them in A.

Final round saw JW score three frags in the B bombsite, giving fnatic a 17-16 lead. As terrorists fnatic quickly attacked B, giving them two map points, with a 18-16 lead.

The game was settled with KRIMZ scoring a triple kill on yet another quick B bombsite attack, securing fnatic a 19-16 win, coming from a 12-15 deficit.
