Cloud9 upset dignitas, advance

C9's terrorist pistol tactic was quickly stopped, as dignitas shut down the B bombsite. However, a force buy to the other site tied the game, and forced the Danes on early save rounds.

Henrik "⁠FeTiSh⁠" Christensen attempted an AWP buy on round three, but it yielded no results. A triple by Jordan "⁠n0thing⁠" Gilbert, including a one-on-one, then put Cloud9 in the lead 5-1.

From that point on, dignitas was dominant on the defense. They won a flawless round in the middle, and then easily stopped C9's A hit. A triple by Philip "⁠aizy⁠" Aistrup in B then stopped C9.

Peter "⁠dupreeh⁠" Rasmussen had two nice plays on rounds ten and twelve, scoring two rounds on each, with a key flank on the latter, which put dignitas in the lead with a 7-5 score.

Final three rounds of the half were all Nicolai "⁠device⁠" Reedtz. The aim-star of dignitas scored eight kills in three rounds, all key frags in the A site, as the Danes finished the half 10-5.

C9's losing streak extended one more round, as they lost a three-on-two on the pistol round, but a huge triple kill effort with a Scout by Sean "⁠seang@res⁠" Gares got them back in the game.

Cloud9 survived dignitas' three save round kills, and seang@res's triple got them to 8-11. dignitas were then stopped in A, and another save round by the Danes cut their lead to 11-10.

Nex round saw the North Americans unable to defuse in time, and then aizy split a two-on-four with device to break Cloud9's money, making it 14-10.

With their backs against the wall yet again, a triple M4A4 kill by n0thing started another C9 comeback. seang@res then put in three of his own, getting them witin two.

Mike "⁠shroud⁠" Grzesiek chimed in with three frags against a save, and a great play by Spencer "⁠Hiko⁠" Martin in the B site saved Cloud9 in a two-on-three, all of a sudden tying the game up.

dupreeh got three entries in the twenty-ninth round, but Hiko came through with a huge triple kill clutch, giving Cloud9 the lead after getting the defuse in A. 

Seemingly disturbed by essentially throwing away two rounds that would have broken Cloud9's economy, dignitas rushed A in the final round but were mowed down, as C9 clinched a 16-14 win.
