After winning the opening map de_inferno convincingly, Dan "⁠apEX⁠" Madesclaire's LDLC ran into a brick wall on de_nuke, securing just six rounds en route to their opponents tying the series.

I really like nip, but I gotta admit. I feel sorry for apex. He was one of the best players this tournament, and made some great plays. I am looking forward to watching more of him! :D
