Mobility bring in sLip

Mobility-Gaming have announced that they have bolstered their squad with the addition of Ricky "sLip" Cohen.

The Canadian team are currently practicing hard with the ESWC finals in mind, an event for which they qualified after finishing runners-up to iBUYPOWER in the North American qualifier, held last month.

Mobility came to the conclusion that a change was needed for them to be better prepared for the French event, and decided to replace Matt "stryder" Brown with Ricky "sLip" Cohen.

sLip joins Mobility ahead of ESWC

Cohen, a former member of UMX's 1.6 team, was recently seen playing for Area51 after reaching the ESEA 15 LAN Finals with mouseSpaz.

"Parting ways with Matt "stryder" Brown was a difficult decision, but one that had to be made," Peter "stanislaw" Stanislaw told HLTV.org.

"For the past few weeks we have been struggling to achieve the heights that we feel we are capable of. We experimented as much as we could to fix things but it was even more difficult when stryder left for vacation for two weeks from August 6 – August 20.

"We were forced to play with a backup for these two weeks and we were lucky enough to contact "sLip" who just became teamless at the time.

"Over the next two weeks, we began noticing significant improvements. After playing with "sLip" for the next few weeks, we decided it would be best to keep him as a permanent member of the roster. He brings loads of experience and is a great addition to our team.

"We’d like to thank stryder for everything he’s done for our team, and wish him the best of luck in his search for a new team. This was an extremely difficult decision to make but we feel it is the right one for us to move in the right direction."

Mobility-Gaming's team are still looking for a new organisation that can send them to Paris after raising just $1100 through their crowdfunding campaign. All interested organisations can contact the team by e-mail at [email protected].

Mobility Gaming's lineup is the following:

Canada Jake "SIDOF" Currie
Canada Peter "stanislaw" Stanislaw
Canada David "DAVEY" Stafford
United States Addison "zecK" Gorzeck
United States Ricky "sLip" Cohen

I'm sorry for you that people prefere donating to ALS arround 40 milions $ that they keep and only put between 1-10% from this donation into research than giving 5 buckets to send you compete..

I admit that for you it doesn't matter ? You give 10'000$ to an association for reasearch and they keep 9'500$ for their end year salary.. damn you br0

Sorry but even 1% for an association is still better than 5 bucks for sending 5 guys playing video games and lose all of their matches.

Get out of ESEA premiere, make CEVO/ESEA LAN, *then* you can start thinking about going to international events. Irrelevant, but it's true.
