VP vs. fnatic in Legends Series #2

CS:GO Legends Series will continue on Monday, September 8th with the current holders Virtus.pro taking on challengers fnatic in a best-of-five clash for $1,000.

The first edition of CS:GO Legends Series took place on Monday when Virtus.pro managed to defeat NiP in a grueling 3-2 series that came down to the wire.

The next edition will see the Poles remain in contention for another $1,000, while they will face a new challenger in form of recently crowned SLTV StarSeries X champions fnatic.

Same as last week, the series will be played best-of-five maps with the ESL One Cologne map pool.

The two teams are continuing their battles on all fronts, as both are also currently taking part in ESEA Invite Season 17, as well as FACEIT League where they will meet on Wednesday on de_cache.

I don't think pronax is expected to topfrag or even needed to. The team is built in such a way that they rely on the other four players to do the big plays. If olofm, flusha or JW are having a good day, they can turn the match in their favor. Those three playing well is much more important than pronax getting frags. The important thing for pronax is to make the right calls. It is the same thing as in Dignitas. When they look the most dominant, Fetish is usually at the bottom of the scoreboard. When Fetish is topfragging, they are often losing.

I just say to contribute not perform well or topfrag which u have understood... what i mean is that there should not be kill stats in single digit. if he reaches double digit then it would make win easy for fnatic...

I think odds will be great for vp especially since its bo5 and we aren't sure how well fnatic will play over such a long time, we have proof Vp can go the distance!

I think VP ban Cobble and fnatic nuke so there will be inferno - CT sided - fnatic D2 - T sided - 50/50 mirage - CT sided - VP overpass - CT sided - 50/50 cache - CT sided - 50/50 but slightly in favour of VP now the matter of interest is that in which order the maps will be played? If mirage and cache played as map1 and map2 and VP won then there will be mentally benefit for VP, same for fnatic in inferno... final prediction :: 3-2 VP (not prediction but I want VP to win this BO5)

Yeah. Fnatic are great on Cache. I think they have a slight advantage. They are good at Mirage as well but probably not as good as VP. I still think Fnatic have a good chance on Mirage.

Why not? Fnatic beat NiP 16-8 on Cache in the Cologne finals. It's one of their strongest maps. Maybe not 50/50, but I think both teams have a good chance to win the map. Too close to call.
