fnatic beat Virtus in Legends #2

fnatic won the second edition of the CS:GO Legends Series after a 3-0 beating of Virtus.pro (16-14 on de_cache, 16-3 on de_mirage and 16-7 on de_inferno).

Virtus.pro made history last week when they became the first champion of the CS:GO Legends Series, a new tournament hosted by E-Frag, but last night they were a far cry from the side who beat Ninjas in Pyjamas 3-2 in a thrilling contest.

de_cache was the only map where Virtus.pro managed to put up a fight against fnatic, but not even Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski's inspired performance prevented the Swedes from picking up a 16-14 victory and taking the lead in the series.

fnatic are the new CS:GO Legends

The other two maps, de_mirage and de_inferno, were simply one-sided, with fnatic winning both maps fairly easy and while losing just 10 rounds in the process.

Maybe. I've always felt fnatic was weaker against swedish teams than foreign - maybe because they know each others playstyles too well ;-O

STFU about the luck. Win is a win. In every sports. HLTV went from 18yo idiots arguing to 12yo ex cod-players arguing in just 2 years. What next, a f*cking swarm of 9 year old minecraft players? GG.

lol, if you Believe that Nip > fnatic you're just stupid. ESL was NiP's last chance to really win something and ofc they would struggle past any team. They beat both ldlc and fnatic who both were much better. But it was just meant to be, soon f0rest and fifflaren will retire cuz old and then you will see a new top NiP team again.

I have to disagree. I think the average retirement age is way too low in CS and in esports. There is no proof that after you turn 25 your arms magically dissappear and you can't kill anyone anymore. Actually, they made a research where they compared cognitive skills of old and younger players (StarCraft II) { tinyurl.com/nkjxvjq } <- Article not working at the time i'm writing this.. Results pointed that older you are, your reflexes will become more slow eventually. BUT older players replace this with strats and gamesence that you can only aquire by playing alot of the game in question. The decrease in cognitive skills can be also explained with adulthood. You have to get a job, home etc. And they all consume time from the game. BUT again.. When these are eliminated and professional practise is introduced, I personally think one can be a pro at any age.

Yeah I get you, f0rest is still as good as he was in early cs go. That's not the problem. I just Believe that he and fiff who are both 26 smthin, should consider stepping down and focus on family. Since f0rest is an cs legend he could easily create a new carrer within esports.

It is also possible to have such things as family and be a pro player at the same time. I see no problem with that. Just look at thousands of sport pro's.
