Denmark to host ESWC qualifier

Gaming.dk has announced that it will host the Danish qualifier for the ESWC finals.

The Danish national finals will be held under the wings of the LAN event called NPF #15, which will take place from October 10-12 at Fredericia's Messecenter.

Details about the qualifying process are still slim, but it is believed that there will be an online stage first, with the top teams then securing a place at the LAN finals. According to Gaming.dk, more info will be released soon.

CPH Wolves won last year's qualifier

CPH Wolves came out on top of last year's Danish ESWC qualifier, with the Henrik "⁠FeTiSh⁠" Christensen-led team then crashing out of the world finals at the expense of Astana Dragons.

I'm not even sure they'd be able to get enough teams take ESWC Libya 2013 for example, they barely managed to get 3 teams. And that's coming from a population of 6 million while bahrain's is only 1.3 million

this is ESWC not ESL ONE. Its a world cup,there will be teams from all countries.. And do u want a slot for estonia ? Team name : HAX0RS?

Norway has London Conspiracy as the only team who could maybe be a real contendor. Sweden has fnatic, NiP, unwanted etc etc Maybe pathetic was the wrong word to use ^^ Wasn't meant to be disrespectfull

So because an organizer or some sponsors paid the crazy price to run a qualifier it is pathetic? If Sweden wants one, their scene needs to step up and pay out! Indeed, it's really unfair, but that's how eswc works...

ESWC should try to get all years a minimum of qualifiers with the national qualifiers in this big countries or good CS Scene: USA, Brazil, Germany, France, UK, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Russia, Poland, Ukraine, China, Korea and Australia. + others countries. But this list in my opinion should be the minimum list.
