Planetkey Dynamics and myXMG have secured the last two places in fragbite Masters after reaching the final of the second qualifier.

After NO SIR! and Property finished in the top two of the first fragbite Masters qualifier, the second qualifier took place this weekend, with 256 teams from all over Europe contesting for the last two places in the $42,000 league.

Orbit, who had already reached the semi-finals of the first qualifier, once again came within touching distance of a place in the final but ultimately fell short against EPS Germany champions Planetkey Dynamics, who ran out 2-0 winners following 16-7 victories on de_mirage and de_inferno.

In the other semi-final contest, myXMG saw off the new PENTA Sports team, featuring Kevin "⁠kRYSTAL⁠" Amend and Timo "⁠Spiidi⁠" Richter in a close three-map contest (16-8 on de_inferno, 4-16 on de_dust2, 16-14 on de_mirage).

This means that the final participants' for fragbite Masters looks as follows:

Im just amazed that it didn't succceed for both teams to throw it away - seemed the most likely thing to happen with that level of play, even though it isn't possible.
