pow win ESWC China qualifier

pow are through to the ESWC finals after winning the Chinese qualifier following a 2-0 victory over Nface.GM (16-11 on de_cache, 16-13 on de_inferno)

The LAN Finals of the Chinese ESWC qualifiers took place from October 3-4 with the top four teams from the online phase in attendance. Besides the spot at the world finals later this month there were also approximately €4,000 up for grabs.

TyLoo, without a doubt the most decorated team in China, cut a frustrating figure in the qualifier as they came in third place following a 1-2 defeat against Ngface.GM in the Consolidation final.

KingZ's TyLoo finished third

Pow, who had topped the Upper Bracket, thus requiring to win only one best-of-three match to scoop the big prize, looked very strong in the Grand Final and disposed of Nface.GM on just two maps, picking up a 16-11 win on de_cache and a 16-13 success on de_inferno.

They've NEVER, been outstanding at Counter-Strike...They had advanced tactics on 1.6(koreans), but didn't manage to win all to'o much. That being said, I loved watching WMF games.

Like I said its still unknown. And each region has their own playstyles. I can see asian teams able to compete but thats gonna be a littlebit until they get acustomed to playing this new scene.

Ok? And are they not? Asians got math skills so they square root by the power of pi and easily find out the math value to aim shots. U know some koreans have easy brain muscle memory that they literally know the exact recoil of 30 bullets

They've still never, been good at FPS games. Yes LunaticHAI won something, WMF did well. But they were never a Na`Vi, fnatic, SK, NiP, mTw. They were pretty much the same as emuLate.

I remember CPL and 1.6 times when Lunatic-Hai were playing on a high level and if I remember correctly, their style were more agressive and fastern than European one. Bu that's the another game. :)

Was fun/frustrating to watch them play - while they had their own playstyle, pow & Nface was the closest to the European style.. Hope they can have a good showing at ESWC, qz is crazy!

you are right. dd and qz is kind of new player in China. Like most 1.6 famous player, they don't want to try csgo or don't want to be pro player in csgo, so a large number of new faces come out.
