3DMAX, GPlay, mouz to ESWC 2014

The European online ESWC qualifier organized by ESEA is almost over with 3DMAX, GPlay and mousesports qualifying for the event.

Eight teams were invited to take part in the qualifier, which awarded three more spots for European teams at ESWC. Favorites included mousesports, 3DMAX, Orbit and fm.TOXiC.

First spot was awarded earlier today, as Aleksi "⁠allu⁠" Jalli's mousesports took on a team composed of his former teammates, 3DMAX, in the semi-finals of the upper part of the bracket.

mousesports wound up losing after splitting de_mirage and de_nuke - a map they never played before with allu, but somehow left in the pool - and falling short on de_dust2.

natu's 3DMAX continued strong play after DH Stockholm

On the other side of the bracket Bulgarian GPlay, composed partly of former HSBG players, took down Swedish PB to represent their nation at ESWC 2014 in roughly a month.

The third spot then came down to a match between mousesports, who were playing with Mikail "⁠Maikelele⁠" Bill as a stand-in, and the Swedes.

Though the series went to three maps, and mouz had to play with a stand-in on de_season, they prevailed with a 2-1 win overall, qualifying with the other two sides:

mousesports

The grand final between 3DMAX and GPlay scheduled to start at 21:00 . Though both teams are already qualified for the event, they are playing for a higher seed.

ESWC 2014 will feature a $50,000 prize pool and begin on October 29 in Paris. HLTV.org will be on-site in France to provide you with full live coverage of the tournament.

Dont know if GPlay will do anything at all against other good teams but we'll see

It's nice to give new teams some experience and exposure. Perhaps this can be a huge learning step for them and become a decent team on the international level.

Good luck to GPlay , would also like to see 3DMAX perform well , a joy to watch them play , also mousesports with this team look scarry. Gonna be exciting.

I would like to see Bulgarians on Lan, since they always suck when they come in Serbia on some Lan event, but online, they are top20 team.

Compare them when they are playing Lan and Online. Last time Ination didnt play for a few months after disband, still HSBG (gplay) couldnt win. Also, i saw a lot times spyleader on fake accounts with best aim eu. (He is enough stupid to have himself on friend list with 2 more)

Spyleader have only one another account because his main was stolen by some bulgarian dude who hacked his email. And actually you are still wrong if you follow the scene you probably gonna know that HSBG is lan proven team since 1.6 and they always dominate in our region. They are gonna be better on lan.

Nah, i saw 1 account where he had 2 friends, 1 of them was main acc of spyleader (this he used to play on officials). Also, in 1.6 was best in region? Please, Romania and Serbia had a way better teams then HSBG, just look at Lans. Also, i just telling you to compare Lan and Online results.

Pa ne, znas kako, sve je kako njima odgovara. Ja kad sam spominjao da su ostale ekipe dominirale ranije, i da bugari nisu bili bas nesto u proslosti, onda sam glup. A vrlo dobro se zna ko je bila eu4ia, rumunski next, 4gl, playmore, newwave, i onda dodjete da mi prosipate muda sa kanterom iz 2012 kad su svi ljudi vec presli na cs:go. Ima ih jos dosta, poput tega, i tako to, gresim dusu sto ne pisem, ali ko zna shvatice
