Official: CPH Wolves change three

Copenhagen Wolves have announced that they have completed the signings of Casper "cadiaN" Møller, Markus "kjaerbye" Kjærbye and Nichlas "Nille" Busk.

CPH Wolves had strongly been tipped to undergo roster changes after a poor run of results that saw the team crash out of ESL One Cologne and DreamHack Stockholm in the group stage.

Initial reports suggested that Nicolaj "⁠Nico⁠" Jensen and René "⁠cajunb⁠" Borg were the only ones heading for the exit door, but the team have now confirmed that Finn "⁠karrigan⁠" Andersen is also on his way out after deciding "to venture on with another team", according to a statement from the Danish side.

With karrigan recently acting as a stand-in for mousesports, this could very well mean that the Danish veteran will once again commit to the German organisation.

Besides recruiting Casper "⁠cadiaN⁠" Møller and Markus "⁠Kjaerbye⁠" Kjærbye from eXes and Isak Gaming, respectively, CPH Wolves have also secured the services of Nichlas "⁠Nille⁠" Busk, who returns to activity after a three-month break following the disbandment of Reason Gaming.

"Nico left the team as he felt his potential skill wasn't where it should be right now and wants to focus on retaining his former skill in his own time before he returns back to playing for a professional CSGO team," said Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander.

"CajunB lost a lot of motivation after the last 2 Lans and has decided to take a break from the game to focus on other areas in his life before returning back to the game on a professional level.

"After the first two players decided to discontinue their careers with Copenhagen Wolves Finn "Karrigan" Andersan also raised the issue that he felt unhappy with the team, and has decided to venture on with another team; I'm sure he will make his own personal statement when he is ready with his new teammates.

"Obviously we haven't had hardly any time to think about the lineup change with the ESWC qualifer so close, but we needed to find +3 players that we felt would give us the best oppertunity as it stands for the upcoming ESWC qualification in Denmark.

"We hope as a team we can continue to improve and we appologies to the community as we never intended for the team to break up this early."

CPH Wolves will attend NPF #15 this weekend, where they will hope to secure a place at the ESWC Finals later this month.

With these changes, CPH Wolves now have:

I think they didnt pracc that much as they needed. Because remember dignitas? They failed their first lan - DH Invitational lost two games with like getting 7 or 8 rounds combined! But they did pracc hard and look at them now, top4 team for sure!

Just to make everything clear this is the lineup for the danish ESWC qualifier, and nothing more as it is now. What ever happens after NPF(Eswc qualifier) is yet to be known. :) Still a possibility

I was a huge fan of Karrigan when he was in fnatic at the end of 1.6 when they went undefeated and raped everyone.. But he just didn't have it for CSGO.. Kinda glad he is gone from CHW because they have talent that was just been wasted on the team, also nico wasn't dedicated at all so very good changes, hope they start making an impact in the scene with this new line up.

Groundhog day. Pimp goes back to fulltime awp as soon as this "team" collapses. "I found myself in a situation where I did not know whether I wanted to AWP for my teams, or play the rifle. I have made the decision to go all in on the AWP, and therefore you will see me as an AWP player next time I will represent a CSGO team."I'm still 100% into the game, motivated and dedicated to continue playing a lot of CS, but until I find the right match for me, I will be on a break."Whether that break will be 2 weeks, 2 months, or even more only the future will tell. coudln't agree more. it's outrageous how the cs community seems to ignore his ban. can someone from the danish szene confirm if that is the case in denmark as well? in germany, cLy plays in PDK still, despite huge resistance within the german community (not talking about players and orgas, only viewers and fans). yet his teammate just seem to ignore the topic and so does Planetkey. Eventually the topic will become silent, and this approach seems to work.

Danes has so many talents but they are not sticking to each other and disbanding repeatedly time to time. Look at MY.XMG, They stick and doing well.btw where is Inzta, socN, smF, EXR, MSL, LOMME? and this ColoN, wasting talent with that duck team.All these players can sit together and decide at least 1 team from these players with good match up which can work well...

Inzta, smF, EXR and LOMME are all on the same team and they have been together for a while now atleast that is my understanding - their last player is glace. They are playing at NPF #15, a big danish LAN and will possibly also attend the ESWC qualifier, which is being played at the LAN. Oh well, seems like the qual isn't being played separately, so they will be playing the qual.

Its only for the qualifier anyways. After the event, they will decide the 100% complete lineup - as this is just temporary. I guess the choice of Nille, might be that they needed a guy they knew, being able to fill the shoes for a single event. "Ehm, this is not real news. I want a lineup that can be serious and stick together for a long time yes, but its really tough when the team got demotivated and didnt want to play. We played with the lineup at ESL Cologne and DH Stockholm. We actually had really good pracc-results before DH Stockholm with alot of motivation but 5 days before the event Pimp went for a school-trip. It felt like the event itself, ruined our trip and we should have never attended DH Stockholm when we didnt feel ready at all. We should have waited for ESWC.
