FACEIT S2 LAN list completed

Virtus.pro and dignitas are the last two teams to qualify for the FACEIT LAN Finals later this month, in Milan.

Heading into the final matchday of the European division, fnatic and LDLC had already qualified for the season finals, but two more spots were still up for grabs, and there were three contestants - Virtus.pro, dignitas and Ninjas in Pyjamas.

NiP ended up losing their final match, a 9-16 defeat against LDLC, which saw them miss out on a place at the LAN Finals as dignitas beat HellRaisers to leapfrog the Swedes in the standings' table, while Virtus.pro won both their matches, against dignitas and fnatic.

NiP fell at the final hurdle

The LAN Finals of FACEIT League Season 2 will take place from October 24-26 at Milan Games Week, in Italy, with $50,000 up for grabs in the tournament.

The participants' list for the event looks as follows:

Sweden fnatic France LDLC
Poland Virtus.pro Denmark dignitas
United States Cloud9 United States iBUYPOWER

They reached their peak and now they cant do more damage against fresh and younger teams with full of potiental and motivation.I dont believe that they can do anything huge at DHW,maybe quarter final ...RIP NIP :(

I don't want to appear biased, but I think the NA teams have a better chance at success in LANs featuring fewer teams as apposed to larger 10+ LANs where they aren't able to focus their preparation on select teams.

Ibuypower definitely has a better chance here than cologne. They like to anti-strat, which doesn't work well when you get teams they haven't played before. With these teams it gives them a lot more time to study the other 4.

If you seriously think that NiP will do a roster change because they failed to qualify for this tournament... They'll need to continuously fail from this day onward in order for that to be even put for consideration. They also have a coach, btw.

They've won Cologne. Everything in between was secondary. They'd be stupid to change a roster that won the last recent major. If they stop winning tournaments and placing high in the next few months you could have some kind of a basis for a roster change. Until then - you're wasting your keyboard.

They were INVITED to Cologne and there they lost more rounds than won. They "won" only because Valve forcing cbbleshit all the time as decider so they have only 1,5 map to prepare while other teams had to be prepared for ~5 maps.

Seriously, stop posting such crap. They won the whole tournament and made it to the finals of the other two majors. You look awful trying to justify their success on Valve or whatever the hell. Stop being a blind hateful kid and grow a pair so you could start appreciating the most successful and stable team this game has and will ever see.
