Semi-finals set in Hitbox Arena

After over a month of play Virtus.pro, dignitas, LDLC and fnatic have made the semi-finals in Hitbox Arena Championship 3.

Sixteen teams overall took part in Hitbox Arena's third championship, and top two teams from each of the four groups advanced to the single elimination best-of-three playoffs.

First quarter-final saw Virtus.pro struggle against the Germanys of ALTERNATE, but ultimately pull through with a 16-4 victory on the third map to book a semi-finals spot.

LDLC were tested by x6tence on the opening map of their series, but breezed by the Spaniards in map two. For dignitas mTw were never a match, and they rolled right past them.

The last quarter-final was finished minutes ago, with fnatic prevailing over Copenhagen Wolves in a 2-0 win that took the Swedes near their limits on both maps.
