ESL releases weapon skins

ESL has put together its own CS:GO weapon skin collection in a bid to raise money for future events.

ESL graphic artist Viktor Schenk has compiled the organisation's very first weapon skin collection, available for three rifles, the M4A4, the M4A1-S, the AK47, and the AWP sniper rifle.

These skins have already been released on the Steam Workshop, and the community can now vote for them in case they want to see them included in the next eSports case.

According to ESL, should they be included in the game, the proceeds "will be put towards a soon-to-be-announced new ESL CS:GO project in order to cover such costs as prize money, travel support for teams as well as the overall production."

"The ESL Collection is only a first step regarding ESL content on the workshop and definitely not the last," said ESL Product Manager Alexander "crtmN" Nehr.

"These four skins are meant to give something back to the CS community that has massively supported us at the two ESL majors.

"If the ESL Collection - or just one of its skins - makes it to the game, the full revenue will go towards ESL’s upcoming CS:GO projects, so a vote for the ESL Collection is a vote for more ESL CS:GO.

"On that note, stay tuned for an upcoming release next week that I’m sure all CS:GO fans will love!"

These skins are completely uninspired. They look just like vulcan/asimov. There's nothing exceptional about sharp angles and contrasting colors. They should have done something that expresses their multinational reach, not some cheap transfer of their logo colors.

I really don't understand what you're getting at. The skins are a weak attempt at making their logo more recognizable. It's a fact that they're another artsy, block-y batch of skins. That's undeniable.

You can vote for them, as you can for any community skins. Skins with lots of votes will be implemented in Weapon cases (I think). Maybe community voted skins will be dropped individually also.

The M4A1-S and M4A4 is the most good looking and the style just fits the M4A1-S so perfect. I would really appreciate the M4A1-S skin being added but the others but the M4A4 is not worth adding. :)

Even If you think they look terrible.. even if you think they shouldn't make it in the game .. YOU SHOULD SUPPORT THESE SKINS, THEY WOULD GET INCOME FROM THIS MAKING ANY TOURNAMENT IN THE FUTURE BETTER WITH A LARGER CASH POOL AND IT WOULD INEVITABLY GROW THE CS:GO SCENE.. Even if these get in, it doesn't mean the Cartel can't get in.
