Infused unveil new team

Team Infused have announced the creation of a new CS:GO squad with three players from the UK and two from Denmark.

Team Infused have decided to give CS:GO another shot after their previous team finished in a disappointing 5th-6th place at i52, a campaign that resulted in the players going their separate ways.

James "⁠redSNK⁠" Littlewood spent the last couple of months trying to assemble a squad capable of mounting a serious challenge in domestic tournaments and contacted former fm-eSports duo Reece "⁠Puls3⁠" Marrs and Jonathan "⁠Sheekey⁠" Sheekey.

RedSNK assembles new Infused team

The last two players hail from Denmark, where they are relative known: Max "⁠neon⁠" Mazur, formerly of Cursive, and Flemming "⁠zecer⁠" Pedersen, who played for teams like ESC Gaming.se and Xapso in 1.6.

"After the last team/mix that attended iseries, it was clear changes were going to be needed," said James "redSNK" Littlewood.

"I spent a lot of time playing with a lot of different players, until we found the right balance i think we have the right balance of players now.

"There seems to be a lack of UK players at moment wanting to put the time in and progress, hence going into the Danish scene.

"We were looking for a keen guy with experience and with Flemming we have that who has huge amounts of experience from the 1.6 scene who already is helping the team, we watched NPF lan and saw Neon tear it up and pretty much carry his team to a surprise 3rd place finish we got in contact with him and was up for the new adventure."

Infused's new roster will make their LAN debut at i53, which will take place from November 21 to 24, at the Ricoh Arena, in Coventry. The team's lineup is the following:

People get older and have lives to live, the UK doesn't harvest eSports like the majority of Europe seems too. Playing "games" in your 20's in the UK is a seen as extremely, extremely geeky.

The UK has previously had some extremely talented players who unfortunately have lives outside gaming. The old 4Kings/Salvo team, Harriman, mangiacapra, pete, wez, wilzo, rattlesnk, then CS:S players like release, hughsy, gandofini, fatal, beta, shift... all great player :-(

You can't force someone to enjoy the game, release was more than capable of being back up with the best of them, and he probably wanted to be there too, but if someone isn't enjoying the game there's no a great deal you can do. After release left HudzG didn't want to carry on and get another player as it was us or nothing, as he didn't feel anyone else was up to the job, added pressure with him getting a new job and a course he was on he felt like it was his time to give it up. Weber and RattlesnK have gone on into a new lineup, no space for me I'm afraid, I've gone back to casual play and focus more on my stream. Shame really as I wanted it to work out and we had a lot of potential, but shit happens.

Acually alot of people hate it because it's extremely annoying when you use it "all the time in every game those specific players are in". Alot of casters have even gave you this critisism so i'm not sure why you don't take it onboard and improve. I do think you're a decent caster just small improvements need made and that's one you need to simply improve on, another is whispering in certain situations, it's extremely pointless because the players can't hear you so why do it. Yeah you may think it causes some sort of scene to the situation but it doesn't.

Haven't casted for like 3 months and a game with tsack in about 4-5months. I received some feedback about the points you mentioned and those who gave the feedback (as I follow people up) told me things got "sorted". In fact I had two people complain on Steam for not calling Sheekey the beast from the North East and I explained why I only said it once throughout an entire evening. As for the whispering, I think even if you were to check recent vods from 3 months back, you'd find it is no longer as much of an element. But yeah, appreciate your feedback any ways.

After meeting alot of englishmen in cs:go it's not that they are shit.. It's more the fact that they are unwilling to change. They are stuck in there rutine which perhaps could use some improvement. So give a bit more credit to your fellow country men sir =)
