fnatic and dignitas are the last two teams to have secured spots at the fragbite Masters Season 3 LAN Finals.

After almost three weeks of intense action and nail-bitting contests, the four teams that have reached the LAN finals of fragbite Masters Season 3 have been determined.

With LDLC and Virtus.pro already through after reaching the Upper Bracket final last week, only two spots for the Swedish event remained up for grabs.

The first match of the day pitted Natus Vincere against the new dignitas team, featuring René "⁠cajunb⁠" Borg once again. It was a straightforward 2-0 success for the Danish team, who were playing with Philip "⁠aizy⁠" Aistrup as a stand-in for Nicolai "⁠device⁠" Reedtz, following a 19-17 win on de_inferno and a 16-2 thrashing on de_dust2.

FACEIT Finals champion were also in action as they battled fellowe countrymen Ninjas in Pyjamas, who had moved past CPH Wolves 2-1 in the previous round of the tournament. Markus "⁠pronax⁠" Wallsten's men kicked things off with a 16-4 victory on de_dust2, but then NiP responded and levelled the tie with a 16-5 win on de_cobblestone. The last map, de_inferno, was neck-and-neck, but in the end fnatic came out with a 16-13 victory.

NiP is nearly done. They cant compete at high level anymore. Many other teams improved way too much while they struggle to win against mediocre teams ONLINE.

They just lost to fnatic (almost certainly best team atm) on a 3rd map of a bo3 16-13... Hardly like they "cant compete at a high level".

your logic is strong here. You are voicing your opinion based on just 1 map which they lost 13-16. NiP is in a serious slump at the moment. They make way too many mistakes and dumb plays. Most important, they don't have that god-like aim that they had in the past. Since when NiP lost to their Swedish rivals 4-16, 5-16, or some score of that range? NiP will need to go through some roster changes.

My logic is strong here, you were the person implying nip "cant compete at a high level anymore". I simply showed you a recent result that showed otherwise. I completely agree that NiP arent the indomitable force they were last year, but frankly that won't be happening again for any team. I could show you numerous examples within the last month vs top teams that show they can still "compete at a high level" be it close loses, overtimes or wins. "Since when NiP lost to their Swedish rivals 4-16, 5-16" Since fnatic are on a hell of a momentum run at the moment, they are the top team in the world right now and confident as hell, whereas NiP is probably at their weakest form ever. Show me a loss or "struggle to win" vs any mediocre team in recent times other than the odd game, every loss they have suffered has been from a team at their peak (dig, titan, LDLC, fnatic) which is to be expected. Saying they need a lineup change is implying that it's physically possible for a team to be as dominant as NiP were, no matter how good you are, a win streak like that just doesn't happen outside of a massive anomaly.

NaVi just got beaten by Dignitas even without Device, and you think they are better than them? NaVi is like top7, behind NiP and Titan which both are performing better on lan.
