Platinium handed E4US' ESWC spot
The ESWC organisers have announced that Platinium will be handed E4US' spot in the CS:GO tournament.
Earlier today, HLTV.org revealed that Algerian side E4US would be forced to miss the $50,000 CS:GO tournament, which kicks off on Thursday, because of visa problems.
With E4US out of the picture, Group C was reduced to just five teams, but the ESWC organisers have now confirmed that Platinium, who came in third place in the French qualifier, will take the Algerian team's place.
Brandon "Storen" Valembois's team posted 13-16 and 2-16 defeats against LDLC and a 16-9 victory over iGamerz during the ESWC qualifier, which was topped by Titan.
This means that Group C now have the following six teams:
Titan |
NiP |
HellRaisers |
CPH Wolves |
KaBuM |
Platinium |
Platinium will attend the ESWC finals with:
Brandon "Storen" Valembois
Simon "Fuks" Florysiak
Matthieu "matHEND" Roquigny
Alexandre "bodyy" Pianaro
Antoine "to1nou" Pirard
