fnatic & LDLC to contest ESWC final

Fresh off beating fellow countrymen Titan 2-0, LDLC continued their impressive form and defeated on just two maps Natus Vincere, who had moved past FACEIT runners-up iBUYPOWER in the round before.

The first map of the tie was de_inferno, and here LDLC came out strongly and picked up a comfortable 11-4 lead after playing on the CT side. The second half was a much closer affair, with neither side able to stamp their authority on the game, but in the end the Frenchmen picked up the five rounds they needed to walk away with a 16-10 success.

Next up was de_overpass, where LDLC secured a narrow 9-6 lead at the break after turning in a strong display as Terrorists. After the break, Na`Vi turned up the heat and closed the gap on their opponents, but Nathan "⁠NBK-⁠" Schmitt's side kept their cool and ran out 16-14 winners.

In the other semi-final contest, fnatic also only required two maps to go through to the grand final, with Virtus.pro looking one notch below their opponents for most of the game. 

With Olof "⁠olofmeister⁠" Kajbjer and Freddy "⁠KRIMZ⁠" Johansson in great form, fnatic coupled a 16-7 victory on de_overpass with a 16-12 win on de_inferno to secure a spot in yet another  tournament decider, just one week after they topped the FACEIT Finals, in Milan.
