LDLC beat NiP, top group C

LDLC have beat NiP 16-13 on de_overpass to win group C and advance to the quarter-finals of DreamHack Winter 2014.

To start the match, NiP's in-game leader Richard "⁠Xizt⁠" Landström scored three Glock-18 kills in B to win his team the pistol round, and they also survived the two following rounds.

Down 0-3, Fabien "⁠kioShiMa⁠" Fiey scored three M4A4 kills in A, and a double kill by Richard "⁠shox⁠" Papillon in B forced NiP to save and effectively tied the game at three each.

Mikail "⁠Maikelele⁠" Bill helped NiP win a two-on-three to put them ahead 4-3, but from that point on the first half was dominated by the French, who won seven straight rounds.

Final round of the half went to NiP as Christopher "⁠GeT_RiGhT⁠" Alesund was able to score two kills, including a one-on-one at the very end, to make the score 5-10 in LDLC's favor.

LDLC finish on top of group C with a win over NiP

Nathan "⁠NBK-⁠" Schmitt's two pistol round entry kills got LDLC the second half pistol round win, but Adam "⁠friberg⁠" Friberg's three Five-SeveN kills won NiP the second round of the half.

LDLC force bought still, and two kills by Vincent "⁠Happy⁠" Schopenhauer got their team the win, and forced NiP on two save rounds to put his team up 14-6 in the match.

Then it was NiP's turn to string multiple rounds together. First Patrik "⁠f0rest⁠" Lindberg and Maikelele stopped a bombsite A attack, and then f0rest scored three kills.

GeT_RiGhT got two early kills in B on the following round, and a double M4A4 kill by Xizt saw the Ninjas get as close as 11-14 before LDLC could win a round back.

A successful B fake with three AK-47 kills by NBK- got LDLC map point, but NiP won two more buy rounds before Happy's two CZ-75 kills on a a save closed it out.

Makelele is a really solid player, NiP will be huge very soon if they keep this 5 players the same amount of time they did with the last lineup.

f0rest underperforming and makes them kinda loose against the both ecos because he oversteps it like he always does against eco cuz he want's those frags so badly xD

f0rest wasn't underperforming against PkD. He carried the whole NiP team...

Well they kept giving him the frags when PkD kept running A 12 out 15 rounds. Wouldn't say he was carrying because of the stats, PkD just did let him get those stats because they did only hit A kinda. Everyone played their part that game, and they didn't do that this game.

at the 10th round GeT_RiGhT was killing 2 so xD he's the real underperforming MVP

Well f0rest had two kills more that was from eco xD so his total kills was 4 and 1 assist. While GeT_RiGhT had 5 assists. So they played bad both of them.

NiP has a ridiculous playstyle. The other teams arent winning because of extreme good rounds, but because NiP doing mistakes. Just as NiP are winning rounds because of really good individually play from one of the guys. They really need to do something with that. But I think thats just how they play, and with specially GeT_RiGhT not playing good its really hard.

They need f0rest and GeT_RiGhT to play their game, and none of them did. They showed up in the end :/

that last round. friberg stepping out after his flash cost them the game. iirc he was already red hp and just stepped out into the open with 2 cz's facing him from lower and 1 from short. still not sure how they all died vs unarmored opponents with full kevlar & rifles. sad way to end the game after such a promising comeback

It's funny how fnatic looses to a top 5-8 team atm, and everybody is like, they still are the favorites to win the event, and NiP loosing a close game to top 1-2 team and ppl talking sh*t about them. It's clear that Nip emproved latley, but i don't see them wining this event, maybe a semifinal.
