dignitas remove FeTiSh

After a couple of months of inconsistent play, dignitas have decided to remove Henrik "FeTiSH" Christensen from their CS:GO team.

dignitas had been a model of consistency until DreamHack Stockholm in late September, when they surprisingly went out in groups after overtime losses to fnatic and 3DMAX.

The Danes then crashed out in the group stage of FACEIT League Season 2 Finals after losses to fnatic and iBUYPOWER, before adding René "⁠cajunb⁠" Borg to replace Philip "⁠aizy⁠" Aistrup.

dignitas parts ways with FeTiSh

With cajunb back, dignitas placed 5-8th at ESWC, last at Fragbite Masters Finals, and 5-8th at DreamHack Winter, with losses to Virtus.pro, fnatic, and Natus Vincere.

Shortly after the major in Jönköping has finished, the Danes have decided to remove their long-time in-game leader Henrik "⁠FeTiSh⁠" Christensen, with his replacement still unknown.

They will be extremely sorry very soon. FeTiSh wasn't their main problem. They recently brought back cajunb. The only thing they lack of is the time for practising. They didn't bootcamp because some players had to finish their studies. They always choke in 1/4 or 1/2 because device usually underperforms so hugely! I'm sure they will split up in 4 months max, in Apr 2015 we will read an article about how dignitas kicked their CS:GO squad. Device will retire, cajunb will simply leave the team. They have no future without FeTiSh, this team is doomed to fail and disappear very soon. Btw, "We strive to become the best team, and there is no reason to believe that we don't have the player material to become that" - it's bullshit, they can't be top1, there are many other very strong teams, which are stronger than dignitas, and they won't change it by simply changing their IGL. RIP dignitas, you've just destroyed your top5 world's CS:GO team. Idiots.

If you rate them top4, it means that they're notably stronger than those who are rated lower than them. It means that they're able to beat any of the teams rated lower. In my oppinion, current top4 is as follows: 1-4. LDLC 1-4. NiP 1-4. Virtus.Pro 1-4. fnatic It means that each of those teams can beat another one. May be fnatic won't come back to their "before DHW" form, but for now they're still top1-4. And Na`Vi didn't sho anything which would allow us to say that they can beat any of the abovementioned top1-4 teams. They can win on 1 map at best, but it's not enough.

No idea how it's his fault that his best players never showed in the majority of games that mattered. Just because he was their IGL doesn't mean that he holds the biggest fault since he's not supposed to hold everyones hands and be a motivational speaker etc. There's a difference between being an IGL and a coach for example. You can't put the entire blame on Fetish since the biggest problem was the one that his star players always choked. Maybe they needed a coach or changing a certain player. In their last stint with cajun they were easily a top3 team that could challenge for tournaments. No idea why they always run back to cajun since he's been proven to be a reliable choice in the long run. Also they really need to change someone from their more renown players since they constantly choke and fail to bring their A game in LAN/big matches.

Device is young but have great poitential. After this summer he wil be able to focus 100% on CSGO. And the rest performed OK. The real problem wasn't actually that their players didn't perform. Because they had amazing CT sides all the way. However their T side was genuinely lackluster. This was very much down to the plays called from fetish and the playstyle he tried to impose. Not saying that Fetish isn't a good CSGO player. But he might not be the right one for this team. Personally I beleive that Karrigan will replace him as he brings some experience and can AWP as well.

Well, this is going to be interesting, because this could possibly be the beginning of the end. I am probably gonna say shit, that has no other sources than "I heard this from people, who are likely to know shit", however it could be some insight to what is going on here. FeTiSh has actually been on his way out, for quite some time. The last change Dignitas made, was actually supposed to be FeTiSh being swapped out, with cajunb - so he could fall in to his old role of being midround caller and IGL. Because to be fair, FeTiSh hasn't been doing a very good job calling T-side the last LONG time. So instead of -aizy +cajun, it would've been -fetish, and they would've stuck with aizy. Supposedly what happened was Andreas aka. Xyp9x getting cold feet, deciding to stick with FeTiSh, which left aizy for dead. It seems like, the team has greatly been lacking motivation and inspiration. And with an IGL that doesn't manage to bring anything new to the table, the change had to be made sooner rather than later, even Xyp9x had to realize so. But if you're looking at Dignitas without FeTiSh (whom I would've rather seen retire, rather than being removed), they have been performing HORRIBLY. But that might've just been because they didn't have cajunb to "take over the role" FeTiSh had on the team. It seems as if Dignitas, if let loose, will be all over the place, and they need a strong leader. A role FeTiSh sadly has been falling short of lately. However, what Dignitas needs now, doesn't have to be a strong ingameleader. Because if you look at the facts, cajun has been midround calling forever in his career, so he could directly take over the role of fetish. They do have the chance now, to pick up Pimp, who's previous "blocker" for joining Dignitas was FeTiSh (supposedly some personal feud), and Pimp is a player who defo could bring something to the table, and could possibly be the straw that breaks the camels back, and gets Dignitas into a major final. cajun have the skills to be a f0rest and you wanna put him like a iGL? for me dignitas should kick Xyp9x because he's really bad when you look to his team mates. Fetish for me is one of the 3 best iGL in the world. Ex6tenZ & Pronax are the best without a doubt but following was Fetish imo. I really hope dignitas comeback strong but i dont think so. I love this logic, kick the only player who consistently performs (albeit quite averagely) but keep the players that are literally holding them from getting to Semi's/Final's (device & Xyp9x). I have literally no idea what their team even is, Xyp9x, device, cajunb and dupreeh are all meant to be these insane aimkids but come Quarter finals they look like GN2's vs the top teams. The best Danish team would be, in my opinion: Fetish/gla1ve, Nico, cajunb, Pimp & dupreeh.

He is an average IGL and an average aimer, not really a loss but I think there arent many danish players I'd consider an upgrade. Few names and my opinion Tenzki: Incredibly talented, but a total dick. He could end up being an amazing player but also being total shit. Pimp: Amazing aimer, love him. The thing is I dont know if he'd leave CPHW. gla1ve: Average fragger but one of the world's best IGL, would love to see him in Dignitas. Cadian: He's not bad but I don't think he is good enough for Dignitas karrigan: If he'd join Dignitas, this would be pretty amazing, good fragger and we all know his feared Scar-20 skills ;) ColoN: Dont have that much info about him and it would be a surprise if he would instantly join a top-tier team like Dignitas, but who knows!

Becaus gla1ve is one of the bwst IGL with ex6tence. You can't measure an IGL on what his team won, he is not directly responsible for the performance the individual players in his team deliver

Prnoax and Ange1? You got to be kidding, Happy is also a great player but not really a mastermind IGL. Zeus is good, about on one level with gla1ve, ex6tence is best, no doubt. B1ad3 was the strat-caller for HR at DHW, not Ange1. B1ad4 is also one of the best

I think some analyst mentioned about why dignitas always choking on an elimination round that they tend to play so passive and safe when playing against top teams. I bet they feel that too when they decided to change Fetish, I think his leadership is so strict that everyone in their team was afraid to make a mistake hence rendering their individual play below their potential. Fetish is a good leader, but with dupreeh, device, xyp9x and cajunb I just cant believe that they cant even made it to the semis. Time to change I guess.

I feel very sorry for both the cs:go scene in Denmark and for the shitty and overrated organisation Dignitas. cajunb out, aizy in, aizy out cajunb in, fetish out. RIP v1 of Dignitas with gla1ve behind the sparks, that was a good era for them, sadly it ended with them being like my grandmother, senile and uncreative.
