Virtus.pro over fnatic to ESEA final

Virtus.pro send fnatic down to the consolidation final after two maps (16-12 de_cache, 16-14 de_mirage), where they will meet the winner of Denial/iBUYPOWER.

Fnatic and Virtus.pro kicked the upper final off with Cache, and it was the former as Terrorists who got off on the right foot with a clean pistol round. Virtus.pro didn't take any time to strike back, as they pushed towards mid agressively to even it up at 1-1.

The Poles got all the way up to 6-1 without being contested all too much, save for a close one-on-three by Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson, but another mid push against an eco backfired for them and fnatic got back on track.

Good rotations by fnatic won them two more rounds for 6-4, which was when Jarosław "pashaBiceps" Jarząbkowski surprised the Swedes by a quad-kill from vent, only to lose two more before ending up the half at 9-6 in spite of fnatic trying to make a double-AWP work.

Virtus.pro picked up the second pistol after fnatic's poor rotations, and the latter's triple scout buy on an eco came to no fruition, as VP saw themselves get to a six-round lead at 12-6.

pronax had a few crucial calls on Cache, but it wasn't enough

Two B splits by the Terrorist side were exchanged because of a read by fnatic in the first case, but a double-AWP stopped Virtus.pro in their tracks for an eventual 13-9 scoreline. A triple boost by Virtus.pro on mid on an eco surprised fnatic, who found themselves against map point thanks to pashaBiceps picking up both AWPs in the hands of Jesper "JW" Wecksell and Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer.

Even though fnatic were almost completely broke, they still made it work with four CZ75s and alongside olofmeister's one-on-two, Virtus.pro's lead was downed to only three rounds. The Poles then tried a simple smoke-off strategy on A, when they stormed through the defence without being contested, and sealed the deal on Cache at 16-12.

Switching over to Mirage, fnatic started off as Counter-Terrorists with Markus "pronax" Wallsten making a huge play in B halls after Virtus.pro stalled for half the round before they decided to push from short.

After two ecos Virtus.pro played another short push and thanks to good positional and team play, they all survived, thanks to which they were able to buy again despite losing the following round. Not even that helped them as JW got two crucial frags in an A retake, and it was 6-1 in favor of fnatic before VP took a stand.

byali's heroics saved Virtus.pro on Mirage

That was only for one round though, but they did exchange the following four rounds evenly after two executes on A. In the last round of the half, fnatic finished off with 11-4 following a B attempt by Virtus.pro.

pashaBiceps was the star of the second pistol round after, as his smart positional play allowed him to survive a flanker and get two crucial kills on the board. Filip "NEO" Kubski's triple on mid then put Virtus.pro within a four-round deficit, which was soon after exhanged for only two in spite of fnatic selling a fake.

fnatic managed to get a round on the board after getting a break due to a technical issue, but Paweł "byali" Bieliński's heroics in two of the following three rounds meant Virtus.pro got up to 13-12 with a few ecos thrown in.

One B execute worked out this time for fnatic, but only one of their players survived, which meant they were broke once again after another B attempt, as Virtus.pro saw themselves at match point.

Fnatic managed to hold onto the match for the next round after yet another B attack, despite being down two-on-three, but Virtus.pro closed the series out after two maps when fnatic got picked one by one over at the A bombsite for 16-14.

Yes, in Britain we have never heard of or used sarcasm. Our humour is never referred to as dry wit. (I think you are confusing the British with either the Germans or the Americans)

It pleases me greatly that Sweden has found a way to leave its mark on the world (other than affordable flat pack furniture). It sounds like a shit legacy, but in a few years there will be little other than cheap furniture and video games. Then you will rule the world! We already did, for ages :p

I know, they should replace everyone's mouse with the same model. Fuck anyone who complains, they shouldn't play the tourny then. Might be a problem for players with old mouses who're not produced anymore.

not a problem for top6 teams cause all them use SS or Zowie. Only Taz uses ie 3:0 but his mouse can be triple checked etc. Also i dont think anyone things taz use aim assist in his mouse.

Different story tomorrow I think ;) even with a 1xBO3 lead.. VP need to play even better than that. But, hopefully everyone bets on VP and Fnatic are underdogs !

Why do people give so much hate to fNatic, have they actually done something against you? All I see is talented young guys, who get trashed alot because they are good. Stop being haters and just love the game and the scene, because the hating has never brought anything good to this world. Good luck to both of the teams in the future.

What do you know! Flusha literally looked completely baffled on both maps. He honestly was useless on Cache, did NOTHING for his team. It is almost like since he can't toggle to see peoples positions he is a shit player. He did stupid peaks, stupid plays, and all around played poorly. If this isn't proof enough that before he was cheating I don't know what to say.

Vod of entire day is here : twitch.tv/esea/v/3589723 U need to go to the 11:45:58 time to jump to VP vs Fnatic 1st map start (forgot how to put time stamps into twitch links so u have to do it yourself). No need to thank me. Next time use "past broadcast" feature on the producers channel to find older videos. It's that easy.

I doubt it because polish casting of ESEA season 17 finals was covered by morgen and from what i see he only casted VP vs C9 match (vod here of his casting twitch.tv/morgenowsky/b/596362485). I don't see VP vs Fanatic in his past broadcast section of a channel. I've also checked Izaak's channel past broadcast section and there is his cast of Titan vs iBP and after that match there is noting more saved so there is no coverage of izaak's cast of VP vs Fnatic too.

Fnatic from undefeated gods to just another top8 team with stupid plays just in 1 months. Another proof they are dirty cheaters. btw. ofc they afraid of ESEA client but when there are matches "for everything" they use to turn on cheats to it is possible they ll take a risk and turn it on today. The fact they can plugin their mices ankeyboards when everyone is confident they cheat is a fucing retarded. Step up ESEA ffs!
