gla1ve removed from CPH Wolves

Following Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander's Gaming.dk ban and fine, Copenhagen Wolves have decided to cut the Danish in-game leader from the roster.

Earlier this week the Gaming.dk organization released a statement about Lukas "⁠gla1ve⁠" Rossander's behavior during GDK Finals, which he allegedly threatened to boycott after his girlfriend was not let into the venue.

He was handed a half-year ban for all Gaming.dk events, as well as a 1,800 DKK fine, as according to the organizers, gla1ve intentionally stalled the grand final for 45 minutes.

gla1ve was cut from CPH Wolves

Following his actions, Copenhagen Wolves cut the team's in-game leader, as his behavior was "unacceptable and far from the professionalism Copenhagen Wolves expect from their players".

The whole statement from Copenhagen Wolves CEO, Jakob Lund Kristensen, is such:

"Today we sadly have to say goodbye to a great player and probably one of the most interesting Counter-Strike minds in Denmark as Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander has been removed from our Counter-Strike Division with immediate effect.

I have tremendous respect for Lukas as a person but the way he conducted himself in relations to the Gaming.dk Finals was simply unacceptable and far from the professionalism we expect from our players." Kristensen said on the organization's website.

"The recent year has been very tumultous for our Counter-Strike Division and we will now take a step back and audit what future possibilities there may be available for 2015.

In the end I wish to state that Lukas had been a consummate professional during his time with the Copenhagen Wolves leading up to this point and I am personally sure he will bounce back stronger."

Until a replacement is found, Copenhagen Wolves' roster will be following:

It was an official statement made by Glaive. Glaive stated that he had been removed from Copenhagen Wolves roster and that he was now without team. If that is NOT an official statement by the player himself well then I do not know what is, and tbh. I am not pissed about that this came almost 2 days earlier but that the article about the GDK ban and fine was done without further research. It was done without even consulting one single player from the roster, and glaive who was the main point of that article was not consulted either about his pov.

And from what I can see Nico is the one forcing gla1ves actions, though gla1ves actions are inexcusable, but so is Nico's gathered from what they have posted at gaming.dk so far, but there are still things left out - phone calls and other stuff. As I said, I wouldn't go as far as threathening the production. I said that we would find a solution when we arrived at the event - which was fixed almost instantaneous as me and Jenny arrived. There was a hall, right next to the studio with a couch - no problem for Jenny nor Julie to sit there - but glaive didn't want any of that. He didn't even wanna show up at the event and take a look at things. Eventually we got him convinced with Gaming.dk by allowing both girls inside the studio, which wasn't even needed. Pimp and aizy went to the station to pick him up. He puts his stuff in the car, goes to argue with Julie for 10 mins, goes to pick out the stuff from the car and tells pimp to fuck off when asked what's going on. Pimp and Aizy comes back to the event, me and kjaerbye thinking they're joking when they say he's not coming. We start to prepare with 3k2. Lukas then calls 15-20 mins later, saying he wishes to play and we should pick him up. And from there the event goes on. The problem was not me bringing Jenny. I didn't/couldn't drive for 8 hours with barely any sleep + cs showfinale alone but neither me or Jenny caused any fuss. When GDK told us at the event, it wasn't an option both of them came into the studio we found a solution - which we were prepared for, because of me talking to GDK admins beforehand (the day before when I told Lukas about the problem too which he claims I didn't). Anyway... 20 mins away from the studio, in the car with Jenny, glaive texts me and tells me to turn around, he's going home - no use I go there. I tell him to chill down and let me talk it out with GDK when I arrive but he's having none of that. Cba commenting anymore on this... Glaive behaved irresponsible and he's getting what he gets from that. That's also why GDK aren't charging me with anything and why I haven't been kicked from the team or left myself. I haven't done anything wrong, I brought my girlfriend to the 2nd biggest city in Denmark and she was prepared to stay anywhere but the studio if it was necessary. Whatever man... cba

Loved the reply except all the cba's, which simply just shows a lack of awareness. I understand your reasoning and no I don't believe that you created any fuss or atleast believe so yourself, but you're still missing the point. Do you really believe that gla1ve just started raging out of nowhere? You cut out everything that happend prior to this, which seems to be the actual reason for gla1ves actions. This isn't the first time you bail the team because of the girl as far as I have heard. So when you say that Jenny can play instead of you, because (from what I have been able to read) it is paramount that you get her with you and also into the studio. The last part you write is not disclosed in what gla1ve linked (but when did you tell him that?). From what is disclosed though, gla1ve is sitting back thinking you're bailing the the team again. A person doesn't loose his temper over nothing and you're most likely the reason to him loosing his temper, either way you're a very large part of situation and it is partly your fault, because of your very weak communication with gla1ve. Again I can only read what there is to read and don't know what was said on the phone and so on. But there is no doubt in my mind that he lost his patience with you, based on what happened the days prior to the morning of 8th. At the 8th of the morning gla1ve expects everything to be in good order, but when he hears youre on your way with Jenny he looses his temper, going back to you possibly bailing the team - making your girlfriend more important than the team and his girlfriend. Do understand that you're engaged in a social network and that your actions affects others. Everyone creates a history with another person and that people act based on reasons. I know it is not my place to meddle, but damn I got furious when I read that you didn't think you had any blame in this, because that is utter bullshit. Even if I am wrong in some parts of this, you still have a responsibility in this whole situation. Which is why I believe you should grow up and accept that ones actions affects others. This is social science basics... I am not defending gla1ve, since you're both to blame and he acted childish, but atleast he has the clarity to acknowledge it.

He called me 30 mins prior to me arriving (after ~3-3½ hours of driving at 5 in the morning) at the event saying he's not going even though we specificly talked about this issue the night before when we practiced. It wasn't a problem me bringing Jenny, his reaction not coming to the studio was the problem. The solution was already there.

The problem being both of you bringing girls and there was no solution prior to you arriving, or so it seems when you read gla1ves comments. I know you don't see it that way, but as I already stated, there is always a build up to any situation. If you look at the texts again, you can see that gla1ve is trying to prevent a conflict already in the first one he posted, and you can see that he feels that you bringing Jenny is a problem in both the texts. So stating that it is the opposite just seems wrong. The solution arised when gla1ve was already pissed of the next day. His reactions from there a of course without excuse, but it is the entire situation building up to that part, that is the reason behind it or atleast a main part of it and not just the 30 mins prior to the event. I will bet everything I got that there wouldn't have been any conflict if you had written something like this the day before: "I am bringing Jenny and she will spend the time at a cafe while we play, if she can't join us at the studio with us and Julie." Then you would have acknowledge the fact that Julie had the "seat" before Jenny did, which in this situation would have been fair, but there is no such thing in the texts that we have seen. From where I stand this only seems like a minor glitch, because of all whole lot of miscommunication and lack of communication, and someone who didn't had that extra energy to take a conflict face to face (when dealing with a solution) neither with you nor gaming.dk admins. Oh well, I should be doing my thesis instead of this. GL with the team, hope you guys can patch it up at some point in the future.
