LDLC qualify for MLG Aspen

LDLC have qualified for MLG's X Games event on January 23-25 in Aspen, CO, with a 2-0 (16-10 de_dust2, 16-13 de_nuke) victory over ESC.

After losing the first qualifier's grand final versus dignitas, LDLC went through Night Raid, x6tence and Swedish BZSX to clinch a spot in today's qualifier's grand final.

Polish ESC had a much tougher route, having to go through Titan in the semi-finals, but nevertheless made it to the grand final to take on the DreamHack Winter champions.

SmithZz's strong play on de_nuke ensured LDLC will go to Aspen in January

In the opening map LDLC scored eight defensive rounds on de_dust2, and then quickly finished off the map with a 16-10 win as ESC's defense could only stop the French thrice.

The series came down to de_nuke, a map LDLC lost in the previous qualifier against dignitas. This time LDLC would prevail, scoring a 14-1 lead in the first half to win 16-13 overall.

who would you rather have? i'd like torqued over ibp but i think ibp can be a bigger threat against eu teams

Well personally I just don't want to see iBP fuck every chance they have at doing good up, but the other 3 teams that can qualify aren't gonna do much better I guess. Wish we had more good teams to root for :D

Nah i hope they won't change their line-up. Szpero is very good player, ofc sometimes he have bad games, but everyone have so... I hope they won't kick anyone, they are playing better and better, they don't need line-up change, MICHU made bad decision to leave them and join INSHOCK and now he is paying for it now.
