iBUYPOWER round up MLG team list

Sam "⁠DaZeD⁠" Marine's team had to leave the first qualifier disappointed, as they were taken out by mouseSpaz, who clinched the second North American spot after Cloud9, who were invited.

With seven spots already filled by the time last night's North American qualifier reached its later stages, it was do or die for iBUYPOWER, who were using Spencer "⁠Hiko⁠" Martin as a stand-in.

iBP faced their toughest opponent in the second round, as they took down Denial 2-0. Since then they cruised past LunatiK, while Torqued took down Mythic to get to the final.

The grand final wound up being a very one-sided affair with Mohamad "⁠mOE⁠" Assad's side only managing ten rounds across the best-of-three as iBUYPOWER reigned supreme.

As the final qualifier for MLG's X Games event is now over, all eight participants at the event are now confirmed, with three of them previously invited:

MLG X Games will be held on January 23-25 in Aspen, CO, and will mark the first important international tournament of 2015 with a $50,000 prize purse.
