Lunatik merge with Adaptation
LunatiK eSports have announced that they have merged with Team Adaptation.
The news comes in the aftermath of LunatiK losing their CS:GO squad to Denial eSports, whose previous roster, featuring players like Damian "daps" Steele and Eric "adreN" Hoag, is expected to move on to pastures new.
The deal struck by LunatiK and Adaptation, two organisations that had been working together for some time, will see the former aquire all the assets that belonged to Adaptation, including their CS:GO team.
"It's sad to see another roster go, I had very close ties with this team but they felt like this was a great opportunity for them and I support their choice," said Lunatik co-founder Collin "MiracleWhip" McKenzie.
"It is time to look toward the future for LunatiK and I feel that bringing Adapt on board will bring us the success we're looking for."
LunatiK's new team are competing in CEVO-P, in which they lie in seventh place on a 2-4 record, and will also be taking part in ESEA Main. The team's roster consists of:
Reece "Bloominator" Bloom
Nick "HandleD" Pathe
Mason "mason" Dickens
Dave "inVert" Monroe
Chris "draWsouL" Drossel
