Expert Gaming lose CS:GO team
Expert Gaming have announced that they have parted company with their CS:GO team.
Expert were recently seen in action in the Norwegian ESWC qualifier at BYLAN, where they cut a frustrating figure as they finished 5th-6th following a 20-22 defeat against wcyd in the semi-finals of the Lower Bracket.
In a statement issued on Facebook, the Expert management announced that they have parted ways with the players "on good terms" and thanked them for their efforts.
Expert also state that they will not back down from CS:GO as a new team will be unveiled "in the near future."
Meanwhile, team manager Christian "GrOggi" Hagen told HLTV.org that the players will stick together and will take part in today's ASUS ROG qualifier under the name OblyRekt.
"After a great year, the team and Expert Gaming chose to go their separate ways," Hagen said.
"We leave each other without hostility and on a good tone. On behalf of the team we want to thank Expert Gaming for all the support we received throughout 2014, we are proud to have carried their logo.
"The team will stick together, which indicates that we are looking for a new organization."
OblyRekt's roster stands as follows:
Eirik "spity" Hauger
Stig "StiG" Holmen
Vegard "yakin" Halvorsen
Thomas "skippii" Bekkelund
Mikal "enix" Øiestad
