Team Acer drop CS:GO hint

Team Acer have dropped a strong hint that they may venture into CS:GO in the near future.

On Wednesday, the German organisation took to Twitter to ask for suggestions about a team game and a solo game in which they could they invest in the future.

Response from fans was overwhelming, with many asking the organisation to sign a CS:GO team, also considering the rapid growth the game has experienced in the last year and a half.

And while Team Acer explain that they have yet to find an adequate CS:GO squad, investing in the game is something the organisation is seriously considering at the moment.

"Dear @redditCSGO, we really appreciate the support you give for the game you love," a statement from Team Acer reads.

"That is the only possible way to make eSports bigger. We can tell you: We want the same thing: A good CS:GO team playing under the Team Acer flag.

"Right now there was no perfect fitting team of all who applied, but our ears and eyes are always open and if the right moment comes, you will see - and be able to cheer for - a CS:GO team named Team Acer!"

Team Acer, whose offices are located in Bad Tölz, in Germany, currently have divisions in Starcraft 2, FIFA, Trackmania, Heroes of the Storm and Minecraft.

There's big exposure in minecraft on streams and youtube, so i don't see why not? The playerbase is also much bigger. TheWillyRex has 6 million subscribers on youtube and basicly only makes minecraft videoes. That's many many times bigger than anything we got in CS:GO :) Exposure = money
