CPH Games with €26,000 pool

The Copenhagen Games organisers have confirmed that this year's CS:GO tournament will have a prize pool of €26,000 (approximately $29,300).

The Danish event will run from April 1-5 at the Øksnehallen exhibition centre, with 32 teams - half of whom are invited, while the other half will come from an open tournament with two group stages - taking part in the CS:GO tournament.

After HLTV.org revealed earlier in the month that the tournament's prizes should be similar to those handed out last year, CPH Games has now confirmed that the exact same figure - €26,000 (approximately $29,300) -, has been guaranteed for the upcoming event.

Just like in 2014, the first two prizes will be wired to the teams' bank accounts right after the event, while the remaining ones will be paid out in cash on location.

Below you can find the prize distribution for CPH Games 2015:

1. - €14,000
2. - €6,000
3-4. - €2,000
5-8. - €500

3rd tier event now... CPH games used to be one of the premier events, it`s sad theyre not willing to grow with the rest of the scene. I dont expect many top teams at this one :(

I've only watched it on streams and the production doesn't seem good no but the experience there could still be good. Afaik theres a bar where you can buy beer and then you watch some games and hopefully be able to talk with some pros

I have been there twice, for sure the best event in Denmark. Quality servers, no delay, good seats, nice spots to watch the main tourney etc. Food is good aswell ;)

There is always an after party, it cost around 5-600 DKK, with included sleeping area, you should go for sure if you can find some friends, The event is in walking distance from the train station so it's all good.

There is one day passes/full week guestpass or whatever you would call it, but you arent allowed to bring your pc obviously. If you are only there for cs and beer it's a great choice i guess :)
