Pre-KODE5 with cogu

KODE5 is getting even closer and HLTV.org caught Raphael "cogu" Camargo during Made in Brazil bootcamp in Stockholm, Sweden, for a short chat.
Along with bruno and nak, you have returned to the team after one season with CGS franchise team, Rio Sinistro. What concerns and what thoughts went through your mind before deciding to go back to Counter-Strike 1.6? Did you simply just miss the game too much?cogu and mibr will be playing at KODE5 Global Finals starting from Saturday. HLTV.org. We will be your home during the entire event, providing you with HLTV, livebot, demos, galleries, results and a lot more. Don't miss out on this first major event of the year.
I think source or 1.6 it’s just CS! I just want to play with my friends, source or 1.6. I'm pretty happy to get the chance to play with them again.
Once again it's the 2006/07 lineup joining forces. The team achieved gold at ESWC 2006, shgOpen 2007, and several other notable placings. Do you see potential in the team? Can the team hit the jackpot this year and really win the big and glamorous tournaments, e.g. KODE5?
It’s for that we are practicing; every team is doing that and hoping to win. For me this is the best lineup mibr have ever had.
Once again, the team is located at Inferno Online in Stockholm to prepare for an event. What is the main objective to improve for Made in Brazil during the bootcamp?
Me, bruno and nak spent an important time with counter strike source and now in this bootcamp we have as principal objective, to practice our skills and make good and new strats for the kode5.
The team did not live up to expectations at the Extreme Masters II finals. Did the team just come up against too strong opponents? What do you feel caused the bad results?
They had a difficult situation at Extreme Masters and some mistakes in the key matches against mouz and SoA put them out of the tournament. Of course we didn't like that and now we have a new opportunity to win a big tournament.
fnatic is counted as one of the major favorites to take home the KODE5 trophy. Do you see fnatic being as strong as the 2007 season? How do you rank Made in Brazil against the Swedes?
Nowadays in counter strike, we have a lot of good teams and for me it is very difficult a team to reach the top and stay there for a long time. I think this will be a very nice year for us and all the others teams who have a lot of big tournaments to win and show who will be the best team of 2008.
The team list for the KODE5 Global Finals includes several big names, but also a few dark horses. Who in your eyes are counted as the favorites and who's really not going to perform well at KODE5?
Well will be a very nice and difficult tournament and many teams are favorite for a top3 but if I have to guess, I say us, fnatic and SK.
This Thursday, Made in Brazil brought in a team to represent Made in Brazil as the second team. Do you feel any pressure? Do you see any advantages or disadvantages having two teams in one house?
For us it is good to have a second good team in Brazil, because now we can practice with a good Brazilian team and in tournaments like ESWC, we will have more chances to do well for our country - maybe getting the two teams in the finals. And now we have one more motive to practice hard and improve our skills and team play because now Brazilian tournaments will have hard finals.
