NetcodeGuides lose squad
In a move directly related to Valve's decision today to ban numerous players for match fixing in the North American scene, the ex-Mythic lineup have left their new organisation with immediate effect.
NetcodeGuides acquired the ex-Mythic squad less than two weeks ago and will now have to bid them adieu due to the owners of the organisation being among the players banned for match fixing.
As co-owners of NetcodeGuides, Sam "DaZeD" Marine and Casey Foster were both directly named by Valve as being among the cabal of conspirators in the entire fiasco.
As a result of their organisation's reputation being so heavily tarnished, the players have decided to sever ties with NetcodeGuides as a result.
The lineup for the NetcodeGuides team was:
Alexander "LeX" Deily
Abraham "abE" Fazli
Erik "fl0m" Flom
Warren "hades" Rettich
Todd "anger" Williams
The players took to Twitter to announce the news:
in light of all of the news myself @LeX_CSGO @gofl0m @hades_tv and @abE_CSGO will be looking for a new home and no will be working with NCG
— Todd Williams (@goanger) January 26, 2015
As news continues to break in the wake of today's events, this move will further shake up the North American scene.
