Platinium-eSport have announced their return to activity with four players from the previous team.

Platinium pulled off one of the biggest upsets in recent CS:GO history when they defeated Ninjas in Pyjamas 16-10 on de_cobblestone in the ESWC group stage - the only victory the team were able to get in the tournament.

But soon after the event the players decided to go their separate ways, citing a lack of motivation and the fact that the team would not be able to take part in ESL events due to the ban handed to Matthieu "⁠matHEND⁠" Roquigny during his CS:Source times and also his VAC ban.

Platinium back on track

From the previous team, Brandon "⁠Storen⁠" Valembois is the only one to be left out of the new roster, which is complete by Timothée "⁠DEVIL⁠" Démolon, formerly of Vikings.

"After two months of inactivity, we decided to resume our adventure with the same core," Roquigny told vakarm.net.

"We decided to continue without Storen and to replace him with DEVIL, who in our eyes has a lot of potential and is very motivated.

"I will not hide that our ambitions are right now limited because of my problems with the VAC ban and I hope I will be able to sort that out soon so that we can grow to the extent we deserve.

"bobbY and I have submitted a file in which we explain the reason behind our VAC bans, which were caused by someone hacking our Steam accounts. We hope to hear from Valve."

unfortunately it is a possibility, also depends if the ban comes from a ban wave or from a random ban. ban wave probably not hacked, random ban could be hacked.

#95 He is banned on ESL because he cheated in a CSS pug a long time ago with a really obvious aimbot and got vac banned (he wasn't a semi-pro). Then, in CS:GO he tried to play the French EPS cups with his teammates on another account, and he got banned again because ESL bans by HWID so if you make another account, they will just transfer the ban, on his ESL profile it says " Cheating - ban starts over due to circumvention attempt - no rehabilitation possible " so yeah, i suppose you can understand that text without me needing to explain it. The CS:GO vac ban he has is when he got hacked. Check #95
