HR send Virtus packing at ASUS ROG

Virtus.pro have been sent home on day one of ASUS ROG Winter 2015 following a 10-16 defeat against HellRaisers on de_inferno.

HellRaisers and Virtus.pro entered their third match of the day in Helsinki on the brink of elimination after they were both defeated by PENTA Sports earlier in the group stage.

The CIS-based side, who are attending their first LAN event since their double roster change, relied on a world-class display from their Russian recruit, Egor "⁠flamie⁠" Vasilyev, who topped the scoreboard in terms of frags (24) and rating (1.55).

TaZ's Virtus.pro eliminated in the group stage

After securing a narrow 9-6 lead on the CT side, HellRaisers gave a great account of themselves while playing as Terrorists as they conceded just four rounds in the second half to run out 16-10 victors.

VP rly needs to do something before Katowice, i was sure they will be fight for top1 this lan (even after they low results online) but this is huge disappointment for me...

Kinda sad since I wanted to see them both get through the groups.. Penta didn't come as a huuuuuuge surprise thou. Well still gotta be happy for HellRaisers! ^^

I think it is that time yet again for VP to consider making changes to their roster. They made that change removing lord and ruben and now I think the same situation is rapidly approaching for taz and neo (as much as I respect them both as players and people). They simply look slow, especially against top tier players/aimers. Maybe they turn it around before Katowice but I really doubt it.

Damn, mate, the truth has been spoken and this truth hurts me a lot as both TaZ and Neo are icons of my childhood so not having them in my favourite team would be painful. :v I couldn't agree more but I would rather recommend to wait for results of upcoming tournaments/matches.

VP spent only 20h on training one week before this event. So yeah, expected :) If they want to came out from group on IEM they have to more practice between other pro teams not on MM :v GO GO VP!
