Gfinity have announced details about the qualifying process for the upcoming Spring Masters event.

Following the success of Gfinity 3, which was topped by Virtus.pro, the UK-based organisation will host four Masters events this year, each one having a prize pool of $20,000.

The first of these events is scheduled for March 21-22 at the brand new Gfinity eSports arena, in London. Sixteen teams will take part in this tournament, with 12 of them being invited by the organisers, while the remaining four will come from online qualifiers.

Gfinity Masters promises some great matches

On February 16 and 23, Gfinity will host two single-elimination qualifiers, open to 128 teams. Registration for these tournaments is free of charge.

Portugal is a pleb nation, full of gypsies and soccer players who are tards. You should rename yourself Poortugal. Enjoy living in poverty, soon you will be as shit as Brazil. Maybe one day your own soccer team will get 1-7'd and then you have respect for other nations. Greece is a beautiful country, with great weather, a lush history, democracy and the foundations of society. Portugal has sunny humid weather and ugly women. Aus is #2 nation though, we got it all, except for History. Sorry to say but Greece>Aus>All other European Nations>Poortugal.

It's a UK event and it still trumps ClutchCon, god that event is aids. 3 days of 10 hour delays, lagging stream, it's on mlg.tv, terrible bracket changes, bad casters and worst of all the teams are all mostly american. Gfninity is 10x better than ShitCon. Sorry to say mate.

I know the Australian professional scene is no where near the U.S. But considering we are isolated and no one geographically around us plays the game enough to a level that is competitive enough for us, we still do pretty well against world class teams such as LDLC. That being said, we (Vox Eminor) have actually put up more rounds against a team like LDLC than any UK team has, considering the UK has triple our population and more players, I find it indecent to say our scene is bad in anyway possible considering the numerous factors I have brought up. You cannot deny that we are actually quite good considering the circumstances and you should have respect for our scene. If we could play against teams like eNVy Us and fnatic more than 2 times a year, I guarantee we would perform to a standard that would be "acceptable". Your teams like iBP and Cloud9 play European world class teams more than 5 times a year and as a result they grew. So in summary, your comment has really no validity considering it's a well known fact that Australia would have a much bigger and better professional scene if we could meet European and NA teams more times during the year, and if we had a larger population. These factors alone, limit our ability to perform and are valid to what I am saying. T3HK4T, we also don't throw games for skins even though our professional scene is smaller. ;)

With so many events coming into the scene, it would have probably be better to host one event with a 80,000 $ instead. It would have stood out from the rest and attracted teams more. Now, depending on how other events overlap, they'll probably lack several top teams in most events.
