NiP over HellRaisers to ASUS ROG final

The second semi-final kicked off on de_dust2 with NiP starting strong as Counter-Terrorists, putting up three rounds to nil thanks to a won pistol round. The Swedish force didn't stop at that and despite a lost gunround, they piled on with three more rounds for 6-1.

Emil "⁠kUcheR⁠" Akhundov's entry helped HellRaisers get a second round on the board, but it was not enough against NiP's AWPer, Mikail "⁠Maikelele⁠" Bill, who was clearly on fire with fifteen kills at 7-2.

HellRaisers continued to struggle, but from the last three rounds of the half they were able to snatch two, thanks to solid play from Egor "⁠flamie⁠" Vasilyev and Mihail "⁠Dosia⁠" Stolyarov, intervened with Patrik "⁠f0rest⁠" Lindberg's AWP triple on the B bombsite for 10-5.

Kyrylo "⁠ANGE1⁠" Karasiow's triple in a retake on short got them two more rounds, but from there on it was NiP's match to lose as they kept racking up rounds despite the Ukrainian in-game leader's attempts in a one-on-two.

NiP were at match point when HR's youngster flamie stopped the rot, but it only lasted for that round as Maikelele closed map one out at 16-8 with an AWP triple, ending up on a 31:13 score.

On de_inferno it was HellRaisers starting on the right track, winning the pistol alongside with both anti-ecos, but went back to a tie at 3-3 following two gunrounds.

Out of the next five rounds HellRaisers won four, while the last was single-handedly won by Christopher "⁠GeT_RiGhT⁠" Alesund with some smart positioning on short towards the A bombsite. 

NiP tied the game again at 7-7 before HellRaisers took the closest victory possible on the Counter-Terrorist side. For the fourth time the game was tied at 8-8 when Maikelele's triple won NiP the pistol round.

Then the Swedes went on a spree, except for one round when HellRaisers took over the B bombsite and defended a three-on-three, for an eventual 13-9 scoreline. GeT_RiGhT then surprised HR with an agressive play when they were about to push into the B bombsite, putting his team two rounds away from winning the game.

ANGE1's team decided to forcebuy and rush the A bombsite from boiler and halls, but it was met with a solid defence. At that point the game was over because the CIS team had no money left to buy on the last round, as NiP advanced to the grand final following a 16-10 score on map two.
