EnVyUs to recruit ex-LDLC - Report

North American organisation EnVyUs will pick up the former LDLC squad, according to a report by Vakarm.net.

The DreamHack Winter champions left LDLC earlier on Sunday after receiving a better offer from another organisation, whose name has not yet been revealed.

According to French website Vakarm.net, that organisation is EnVyUs, who were created in 2007 and have supported a number of famous Call of Duty players, including Matt "NaDeSHoT" Haag, who recently won the eSports Player of the Year award, over the years.

Happy & co to join EnVy Us?

If confirmed, the move will represent yet another big organisation from a different game venturing into CS:GO, after Team Liquid, Counter Logic Gaming and Team SoloMid all signed teams in recent weeks.

The French team will be in attendance at IOS Pantamera next Saturday, where they will be hoping to get a piece of the $27,000 prize purse.

well, that's not fully true. csgo had 550k viewers peak at DHW while CoD only had like ~150k if not less on the last big tournament. in terms of viewership cs:go will now beat cod any day, and viewership is what attracts sponsors.

CoD has only done qualifiers this year. Call of Duty Championship will host more viewers than dreamhack. It's also $1 million dollar prize pool. Bigger than anything else CS has ever had.
