ESEA mimics Valve's bans

ESEA has announced that it has banned ex-ESC and four former Epsilon members following Valve's match-fixing investigation.

Earlier on Friday, it was revealed that the former ESC Gaming team and four ex-members of Epsilon had been handed indefinite bans from all major events following a match-fixing investigation conducted by Valve itself.

The news came as a huge blow to the Polish team, who were due to attend the offline qualifier for ESL One Katowice next week and were on the verge of completing a move to a new organisation after leaving ESC Gaming.

ESEA has now announced that it has followed up on Valve's decision with indefinite bans of their own to all players for what it described as "gambling violation".

ex-ESC were sitting eighth in ESEA Invite, in which they are already marked as "dead", with a 2-6 record.

The following players have been banned by ESEA:

Neither do I, because if thise is the case, other people should be banned as well (Shazham, VP). Probably Valve is holding back information like they always do. Or they are incredibly stupid and banned ex ESC for no reason.

Same with ScreaM. He took part in the Epsilon's throw no matter if he knew about it or not. Minise and Szpero both didnt take part in the any betting same like ScreaM did and they are still punished.

Imo this ban fest that is going on is just stupid without external betting sites such as csgolounge this wouldn't be a problem. These players are still human they make mistakes, but there is absolutely no reason to ruin the scene that is trying to currently gain a reputation. A statement should have been realeased by valve saying that any players from this moment on caught fixing matches would be banned, this entire situation has been gone at all wrong.
