King of Majors with $15k

King of Majors will run from February 16-17 and feature four teams fighting over a $15,000 prize pool.

Hosted by E-frag.net and sponsored by hitbox.tv, King of Majors will be a tournament featuring the four previous CS:GO major winners competing online. Additionally, E-frag.net have indicated that pitting major winners against each other is a concept that will likely be recurring in the future.

The four teams will be:

NiP	EnVyUs
fnatic	Virtus.pro

The tournament will run in a double-elimination bracket with each match playing out as a best-of-three series.

$15,000 on the line at King of Majors

Meanwhile, the $15,000 prize pool will be substantially weighted towards the first place finisher, and is distributed as follows:

1. - $12,000
2. - $3,000

E-frag.net have lately been seen sponsoring tournaments in regions with relatively less developed competitive scenes such as the Balkans and East Asia, however this is not E-frag's first venture into showcasing bigger name organisations, with the CS:GO Legends Series running several events last year.

Well VP deserve that spot. I would like to see Titan or TSM too, more than VP after the last 2 LAN's but this is a King of Major tournament and VP won Katowice last year.

NiP have been finishing better than VP, unfortunately. So they're definitely above VP. (And fuck NiP, I fanboy Fnatic so hard) Also Aspen and Pantamera were bother meaningful because of the talent that was present at each. Majors aren't the only meaningful tournaments. Last good tournament VP won was Gfinity I think? That Acer split or whatever it was called doesnt mean anything, because the best teams there were Mouse, Penta and and current Copenhagen Wolves.
