k1ck eSports Club have confirmed the addition of Ricardo "AIm" Almeida to their CS:GO squad.

Ricardo "⁠AIm⁠" Almeida had been expected to join k1ck on a permanent basis after acting as a ringer for the Portuguese team in online matches in the last week.

He will step into the shoes of Bruno "⁠riis3d⁠" Melo, who, according to k1ck, has been forced to become inactive due to personal reasons.

riis3d becomes inactive

AIm, who will take over as ingame leader, is no stranger to k1ck, having played for the team for three months between November 2013 and February 2014.

The Portuguese team are currently taking part in the RGN Intercontinental Open, in which they have been sent to the Lower Bracket following a 0-2 defeat against Orbit, and will play on Thursday their first matches in the online qualifier for i54.

With these changes, k1ck now have:
